Everyone knows that Dwarf Fortress has at least one thing that will make a player rage.

For me it was when all of my champions (who supposedly were fully covered in iron platemail) got killed by a single squad of around five goblins. Turns out, my guys were only wearing the chest plates. I looked around to see what happened to the armor, and come to find out, the marksdwarves took it all even though they were only supposed to wearing leather. Those idiots got 15 legendary wrestlers/armor users/sheild users/sword users killed!

I got so mad I abandoned the fortress, anyone else  have a problem like this?

Never had this problem before, but the first time a fire imp started a wildfire that killed every one of my dwarves was a fair bit aggravating. The damn thing beat me to it.

Rage? No, burst out in laughter or gasp in horror, sure. Losing is fun! Losing an army is entertaining. Mandates... Ok, nobles are a pain in the ass.

To make them stay, LOCK THEM IN THE FUCKING TOWER, or station them in there/ add more patrol points in there/ make them not chase enemies.

Oh, I don't really know, only occasionally I'll run into some kind of bug in a long-running fortress, but other than that nothing, really.

Also, how "dragging the bleeding and wounded from the battlefield outside to their beds" seems to have a lower priority than "dump these 500 rocks".

How they assume that the guy who has arrows sticking through his elbows and kneecaps can drag his own self to bed just because he's concious.

Needless to say, that poor SOB died.  Dehydrated, Starving, Miserable, and nobody helped him.
