He ceased to be a simple soapmaker when he refused to die.

Henceforth, Soapy is to never be called a mere soapmaker again.  Let him be known as Soapy, Adamantite Soaper.

There's no game effect, but you could set up a waterfall (not magmafall) over the entrance to the tomb that goes through soap floor grates above and below.

The mental image, of course, is that anyone entering the tomb goes through a shower of soapy water.

No, it puts out the fire from when they walked through the magma mist getting happy thoughts as they entered.


Real Dwarves burn to death without stopping their work in the meantime!
They aren't working if they are throwing a party inside a tomb!  Besides, it keeps the items inside safe, and lets them catch fire again on their way out.

Dropping magma after you've pumped it is not smart. Because pumps will pressurize magma and dropping any liquid even one level down will increase its amount - slowly. If it's a closed system, the magma will eventually fill every hole and the pump(s) will stop working. If it's an open system, it will overflow.
