Recycling Tombs?
« on: November 03, 2008, 09:46:37 pm »

Does anyone care if you recycle tombs for the nobles, for the next pair to arrive?  By that, I mean does anyone get a bad mood for it?  I have a decent dining hall.  Not quite as good as I have made in the past, but it can be made better fairly easily.

You bury them? Chuck them in lava, preferably alive.

You know what you could do is, if you're planning their death, unassign the tomb just before they die. The tomb gets recycled for the purpose of keeping your noble happy, and you don't have to dig/decorate more.

Okay, thanks for the replies.  :)

I didn't plan the death of the Count.  He ran out into goblin arrow-fire, for reasons unknown to me.  Possibly they killed his cat.  He really was not hard to please.  He just liked me to make a couple of battle axes every so often.

Of course that left his widow, which the game does not deal with sensibly.  So when the new Count (actually Countess) and consort showed up, she had to go.  Again, she was not very much trouble herself, although she had a taste for platinum that could get out of hand.  Their infant son died with her, in the drowning room, so there was no one to grieve first-hand.

I just didn't know if the people would get upset if I undid the tombs.

If they have five arrows in them, who cares if they die angry?
