Damn! We can't let that be ruined!
Is that saracasm? Because it is an issue. A cluster of trees in the park of every city ain't gonna make of O2 for the human race to live on. Then there's all sorts of other issues. What's gonna keep farm plots capable of actually growing anything? Where will we get our seafood?
Meh, in a few years time Yellowstone will blow its load. More Co2 then ever produced by humans in all of history in mere minutes. Plus, we will probably all die then too, so, who's gonna save the earth then?
Um, Yellowstone Volcano is inactive. It's not gonna explode. If it was, it would be getting much more attention from the US government.
Supervolcano btw (can't be compared with just a "mere" volcano, its a thousand time worse and even the effects of an exploding large "normal" volcano could be noticed globally), and it isn't inactive cause it never is, ever. It has been "exploding" every 600.000 years on average, and from my recollection the last explosion occurred about 628.000 years ago.
The landscape also drastically changed during just a few years, bulging a meter or so on some places, even enough to reshape a lake thats located there.
Although admittedly it could still take a 1000 years easily, it will eventually happen though and there's (currently) nothing we could do about it. So if it happens tomorrow, which it has as much chance as happening in a 1000 years, then we'll be in deep shit, knee deep.
