Holyflash the Playful Liberty, a Adamantine Crossbow

So far my best, value of 1.0386M
" This is a adamantine crossbow. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is studded with adamantine and encircled with bands of adamantine and chestnut. This object menaces with spikes of wild boar bone. On the item is an image of a adamantine crossbow in wild turkey bone."

I got a legendary weaponsmith out of it so cool beans there.

I've got a few amusing ones, and a rather sweet one in my current fort.

The Impunity Of Rampage, A Horse Leather Loincloth
This is a Horse leather loincloth. All craftsmanship is of the highest quality. It is encrusted With Chalk. This Object Menaces with spikes of horse leather.
On the Object is an Image of Faithful Charms, the Wood Opal Window in Horse Leather (another of mine).
On The item is an image of diamonds in cat leather.

More cool, I also got:
The Truthful Ring
This is a steel cage.  It is encrusted with Carnelian, decorated with oak and rope reed and encircled with bands of steel and Carnelian.  This Object is adorned with hanging rings of elf bone and menaces with spikes of green glass. (it also has images of dwarves murdering each other).

Jesus, an adamantine ANVIL, with all that stuff added to it?  That must've been in the tens of millions!
yes, 43,734,600 dwarf bucks, to be exact. name was something like "gloriedbattle of rage". and that was before i figured out how companion works. kept saving and loading mid-mood, though. every time he grabbed another item, i saved the file, and when i finally stopped... well, you know.

just got a better one with companion, but that's a cheater's craft. not worth mentioning.

18 lumps of the stuff.

also about twice the amount in items of other stuff, means I didn't drink the water my brother got me, since it was used to revive me.

now, a month later, i'm still vibrating over it.

But it wasn't really legit because you were saving/loading constantly.

I just had the most awesome artifact ever. I can look up the summary in a bit, but basically it's a cobalite earring with bands of cobalite. An artifact worth 3,600 dwarfbucks.

How sad is that? My first set of +steel platemail+ was 6,000 or something like that...

heck, I've seen food worth more then that :(

I haven't seen many artifacts that (what with having played for only a week or so), but this recently manufactured artifact is either the most fabulous earring ever, or the tackiest*:

It has a value of 105,600, making up about one tenth of the current worth of the fortress.

*Okay, there are probably far more extravagant ones crafted. But in my current world, it is.

Seems pretty overrated, considreing a masterful ring with the same decorations masterfully would be not even half that price.

Yeah, of course, artifacts have crazy high value modifiers.

Alright, now another armorer made a set of legendary adamantine greaves worth 1,800,000.

I stand corrected.

^^  try putting stockpiles of really valuable stuff near your workshops/forges. you can make stone artifacts out of ores, they will grab it if its closer then anything else.

case in point, i just got a raw adamantium weapon rack worth 12,180,000. no fiddling involved, there just happened to be raw adamantium in the forge next door. i think thats my most valuable artifact ever, its actually worth slightly more then the adamantium weapons ive gotten. it does not have that much stuff on it, just raw clear glass, pig tail cloth, gcs silk, chrysopraise and turtle shell. ive got an adamantium axe with twice that, including faint yellow diamonds and ruby, but this weapon rack is still worth more.

its called "the ominous joy", which i consider pretty good compared to the names i normally get. now i just have to figure out how to put my adamantium battle axe on it so i can come find it as an adventurer.
