Awesome artifact statue:  elf going up in dragonbreath flames, dwarven general

This is a gold statue of Vabok Wheelshide. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. The item is a masterfully designed image of Vabok Wheelshide the dwarf and dwarves in gold by Iden Eshonfikod. Vabok Wheelshide is surrounded by the dwarves. The artwork relates to the appointment of the dwarf Uabiik Wheelshide to the position of general of The Modest Silver in 404. It is decorated with pig tail fiber. On the item is an image of AleYa Lathermuscle the elf and Sabre Fierybranded the Wealth of Pearls the dragon in gold. Sabre Fierybranded the Wealth of Pearls is burning AleYa Lathermuscle. The artwork relates to the burning of the elf AleYa Lathermuscle in the dragon Sabre Fierybranded the Wealth of Pearls's dragon fire in The Plain of Speeches in 151.

Ninurireg Vosutetar, Escortflushed the Hale King, a platinum mail shirt. On the object is the image of a crutch.
kind of ironic as armour that soft and heavy would be a disablity.

Probably not my best but my favorite was a table made from a single ruby too many saves ago to count. The runner up would be a barrel made from a black diamond.

My expedition leader just got promoted to mayor.  He immediately went into a mood and made a crown out of kitten bone for himself.  Nice to see he has so gracefully (and modestly) accepted the position.

Onesh Udesh - The Confederation of Skinning - a turkey leather cloak

This is a turkey leather cloak. All craftdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is encircled with bands of dog leather and elk bird leather. This object menaces with spikes of turkey leather.

...I dunno, it make me laugh. The name especially.

The elkbird leather commemorates the hordes of elk birds rushing to lay eggs in my nest boxes getting mercilessly slaughtered by my waiting military.

just had a shield made of silver, witha picture of my milittia commander embracing peahens and killing goblins.  Was not made by him, but all materials and images he loves.  So he now has a shield consisting of all his favorite things.

I think they can wield them (you wear armor or clothing, not weapons), but it's still not a good choice due to being too light for a blunt weapon.

Morningstars are an edged weapon...so it is deadly.

OK, the raws say you're right and it does make sense, seeing how they're spiked. Accordingly, a clownite morningstar is indeed an excellent weapon.

I...umm...

It's adamantine, but it's a stupid piccolo, so it's cool but it sucks and it sucks but it's cool and my brain just fried trying to work the logic out.

Here's a way out of your logic loop: that adamantine cannot now be used to make cool useful things.

Toady typically doesn't do things by half measures.  As evidenced by turning "make hauling work better" into "implement mine carts with physics".
There are many issues with this statement.
