You mean Illych? What'd you do, try and solo him? He's a pushover if you've got spells memorized and you've got your companions with you. Minsk makes it easy.

EDIT: actually i would prefer to do BG2, i cant get tutu to work
EDIT2: i just finished making my monk.
EDIT3: i actually finally got tutu to install, though i would still prefer we play BG2

Yippee, I seem to be having some sort of funky problem...  I can get through all of character creation, but as soon as I get to the name prompt the field fills up with a spammed key signal.

I don't think it's game breaking, but it's seriously annoying if you don't want a character named "777777777777".

I checked in notepad, and it doesn't seem to be any command the machine is registering otherwise.  I haven't checked to see if it screws with the biography prompts as well, but it's worth looking at.  I've checked both BG2 and Tutu, and both exhibit this problem.  Will now test BG1 to see if it does the same thing.

EDIT:  And now it's not doing it.  I don't like stuff like that...  If you don't know why a problem stopped, it hasn't been fixed.  The gremlin's just sleeping.

EDIT2:  Why'd they have to make shields so much uglier in BG2?  Same goes for helmets.

Micro we have already been over this, Mephisto even tested it for you. What he is basicly saying is that as you level up you gain more spell slots. PS. im not angry so sorry if the post sounds like that :).

I said spell level is not the same as character level. At the highest character level in the game, you have four weak spell slots, plus a bunch of more powerful slots.

At the very beginning of the game, you may just have two of the weak slots and no others. As your character level increases, the number of slots you have also increases.

This is taken from the 3.5 edition rules, so there will be some differences depending on your level and your intelligence, but it's very similar

Remember that this is in no way exact, you will have more or less spells based on your characters intelligence score, and any items you may have acquired that either increased your intelligence score or added spells slots.

Okay, in order to get this thing actually moving, I say we tell Tutu to go bugger itself and just play straight BG2.  No ToB, no mods, just Amn.

Now we just need to figure out Hamachi and what a good time is for those who are going to play.

I'm in the clear from around 4:00 PM each weekday.  Also a good estimate for weekends, since I tend to sleep a rather long time.  I will play to around midnight.  I'm in GMT +1:00.

Tomorrow is off for me however.

I hated playing BG1 on TuTu, not because of any bugs, but because you couldn't get any decent katanas if you wanted to be a katana specialist for BG2. So spending profs in Katana was a waste of time and nerfed your char :P

How about someone sets up a Hamachi server for Bay12'ers?
That way we can always pop in if we want to play a game with someone.

What about your intelligence modifier? It also affects the number of spells you have.

Also for hamachi, everyone who wants to play online join Network : DFBG ; Password : dwarf
