[40D] 3 sieges in 2 seasons
« on: October 29, 2008, 08:08:33 pm »

I'v never had more than one siege in a year before, and this time i got a human siege in spring, which was odd since the only thing that happened to the humans was a dead liaison and no trading. and then immediately after that ended i got a goblin siege, then in the same year in fall i got a 2nd goblin siege.

it ended up being really neat because i finally finished the secondary bridge for the trade wagons and the dwarves ended up sending 5 wagons and 5 pack animals. at first i thought i could just defend on my bridge but had to go run out and protect the trade caravan, and ended up with a field corpses and body parts everywhere

One siege per civilization per season isn't a bug.  Your humans seem a little more highly-strung than usual, but I don't think that's a bug.

Some would call lots of sieges a feature, especially if you need metal, and when was the last time you didn't need metal?

ah i didn't realize the time restraint on sieges was only seasonal not yearly. i thought something was odd since i only had one goblin civilization.
