Doh, when you start playing press f12 once, everyones number will show up, or if you know them, their name. Hehe, sorry, I should have told you sooner.

Well now that makes things a bit easier.  I knew there must've been some command I was missing.

I'm coming on now.  I think I'm still in Silverbrand, actually.  I might pick up a couple chunks of coal for my own use, but my food supply is running a bit low.

Edit: We must go on a quest for onions, so that I may cook this rabbit dish, we also need to find a source of plates, as I am running out, for whenever I fail I lose a plate! "You didnt heat the food up enough, your plate snaps in half!"

Well, that's kind of a stupid error.  Why would the plate break?

Anyways, once someone gets a "slicer" (plane), we'll be swimming in plates.

i've asked on the offical forums, Elves can buy one from an NPC, while everyone else has to get them from other players, they can be made by players though.

I've been playing this game a bit myself (as a human...)

plates are easy to make, one of the first things a carpenter can make (which I happen to be)

I started with the carpenter kit which incledus a slice, crafting tools, hatchet and saw. I'd be more than happy to supply you with some plates
