Expanded Crossbow Options

Don't know if this has been suggested before, search isn't working for me, so...

Why not have different types of crossbows?
Standard crossbows would be balanced but have less power, range and speed than they would know.
Repeating crossbows would be far weaker or have a shorter range, but have a high fire rate.
Arbelests could have extremely high power and range but have a terrible reload rate.

And maybe mounted repeating crossbows could fill the role we have now, but would have to be constructed and could not be moved (similiar to siege weaponry, but with the crossbow skill), or perhaps require a crossbow dwarf AND a siege operator to run (2 dwarves, one dwarf can't do both).

Anyways, it would give a bit more variety to markdwarves...

Have a couple Arbelesters up front to fire the initial volley, then fall back to reload. The crossbowdwarves move up and take a couple of shots as the enemy closes, and then when the enemy crashes into your melee line the repeaters step up to provide support, or you don't even have a melee line and the repeaters deal with any stragglers that get by the first two groups.
