Heh, at least the spikes are made of leather. I think someone on this forum had a thong with spikes of obsidian.

Hmm, if I recall my high fantasy correctly, a thong is a strip of leather, usually with a pouch attached to carry things. So not a slim loincloth. Though I'm not sure which Toady had in mind.
