Ahhhh Lupin the Third... I'd love to have a samurai in the team and make his job deflect bullets and slice vehicles in half.
XD

I didn't mean that. I meant the gentlemen thief route.

(Though it'd be cool.)

While we're down that route. Fujiko is a must have in the team. As well as a tickling torture device and big pink hands.

Anyone liked the abstracted use of the skill for fast talking?

Yeah, that instantly hit a sort of RPG note with me. Makes me wonder what other sorts of passive behaviors they have planned. (Seduction?)

Intimidation wasn't abstracted though.

I think either route would be neat, but not sure which one I like better.

It's pretty clear people will have skill sets though. Which (having not played anything of theirs other than Uplink) already sounds like it makes for a broader kind of game play than they normally do.

Perhaps the abstraction was a placeholder?

Well, everything was stated as being tentative.

Just had an idea: LCS mod for Subversion.  It's way too early to guess Subversion's modability, and overall management might pose a few issues, but this would be all kinds of awesome.

It would be all kinds of awesome.

You could even include things like hacking electronic voting machines to outright assassinating candidates.

A Matrix Mode could be neat.

Or a Cyberpunk mod in general.

For quite a long time now I've had a thoroughly fleshed out idea for a cyberpunk squad based tactical game, somewhat similar to this in my head, I even had the idea for a somewhat similar style of graphics...
I'm hoping I might be able to take a shot at creating a mod of it off of this game... I'm inevitably doomed to failure but it would be awesome if I could do it.

We were discussing about having a shadowrun mod for it a few posts back.

Something Cyberpunking could work. Again, it depends on how the action is. That from the video presented, seemed kinda of slow and clunky.
