If Golems could swim, I'd already be on my way to that arctic island, since it is large, isolated, and even if they only give 1 unit of population each, with my traits for Grey tiles, I'd get more than that. Sadly, the laws of physics seem to conspire against my 500+kg living iron statues achieving any form of buoyancy in water. Damned Archimedes.

Do they need to breath?

Well no, they don't breath, but even if they tried to walk on the ocean's bottom, it would be damned impossible to reach the other side. I mean, can you immagine the pressures and the strong currents down there? Even iron can't survive that harsh environment so easily, and I doubt i'll be making Adamantine golems anytime soon...

Andrea, ounce the Serani and Golems meet, we'll be making ALOT of deals, and boats are probably not very high-priority, especially with the Xenos trying to enslave us. But hopefully, we'll manage to find time for such an endeavor as to colonize the New World.

As an aside, did anyone name the continent/world yet from their race's perspective?

Not quite. I'm sure I could just call it Terra. Why not? Sheesh, and I told you I haven't enslaved anyone yet...

as a person who speak italian, i must disagree with terra. here it is just the normal word for "earth". so it would feel a bit wrong.

I'll be working on the turn results tonight and tomorrow night alongside coursework and other uni things.  The 'three actions' thing is a guideline rather than a rule; it's there to make my life easier.  You can take as many actions as the units you have permit.  Rule of thumb: Each normal unit can do 2 things per turn, avatars get twice as much.  Additional range points extend the number of actions per turn.

Additionally, all grey hexes are inferior to blue and green hexes in terms of supporting population.  They get bonuses to economic and military generation when 'worked'.  Establishing a mine (an economic action) in a hex will give +1 Economic units per pop in the hex and constructing a fortress will give +1 Military units per pop in the hex.  Special bonuses to other spheres (e.g. Academic or Magic) may also be available.

The white hexes could be glacier or tundra, it makes little difference.  I've assumed that there is enough marginal life available for it to class as tundra rather than barren glacier.

Ofcourse Shikogan, I'd love to trade. Golems will trade with anyone that wants to, as long as they present no harm to them and to their allies.
