Considering the antartic island consists completely of grey tiles, it would be more suited for Monoliths, Golems, or Bhuur. The other races would grow much better on the 'greener' island. But hey, that doesn't mean you shouldn't colonize the antartic one. It would be cool to fight fire-flinging monsters on arctic ice sheets :P
lol, I'd turn them into blue tiles :P That way I'd get the bonus. Only probably is the lameness of colonizing a random island. What's the point? I'd probably have some evil(er) Xenopross build an evil lair on there... With a death ray and all, but then he'd need some sort of hero fighting him. Ah yes, good times.

also, i think the glacier would make it very hard to settle.
it must be very cold there...
but iituem warned us that hexes might change during the game. maybe some magma will start flowing there in the future?

Anyone plan on mining diamonds? That'd be pretty sweet. I'll trade you for some... fish... I mined... Yeah... It's rare!

Well the golems are already pretty good miners, and already mine expensive materials, gems, and crystals. We probably already have a few diamonds lying around :P

Yup, I will do anything to have this island, supporting as many as 4 population units each tile (one less than plains would do). :P

the one on the map is glacier, not tundra. i odn't think it will give you any food, unless you fish. but of course it is Iituem who know

there is some difference between tundra and full glacier. but then a glacier might be also a desert, since it doesn't rain there. hmm... well, luckly i own't go there soon. it is still too cold.

lets go for grey then. still, i think my serani prefer something warmer.
