The Total EP amounts in the information page doesn't match up with the actually amounts because of the extra gained through Actions.

You're killing me with suspense, btw!

I am of a half-mind of this. While it does allow us to control the direction of the race by allowing us to write the fluff, I'm also enjoy the idea of having part of the fluff be out of our control...presenting us with new ideas and new situations to deal with.

Whatever you so desire.

I'm against the players writing the fluff, as I suspect that would lead to a very slight bias.

The fluff will come of its own time. I trust Iituem enough to suspect he isnt going to just drop this.

Only an outsider or the GM can write the fluff, for all other paths are crooked. I'm against helping him, because I may potentially abuse this new-found power. Who are we to say we would be equals in deciding the fates of others that affect ourselves! None among us can guarantee that. A lucky roll could be given or taken at will, and no man, whether Entity or Specie, would be safe! These are dark times...

i.e. Sam to Frodo. While it is done with good intentions, it can lead to destruction.

Any updates, Iituem?

uh? i htought turns were already done and ituem already decided what will happen? while i understand why you don't want players to help him, i can't see how we could chanage our rolls.

The fluff is extremely important, without it the game is just a bunch of actions and numbers. That kind of power can be abused, but I'm not about to speculate how. Having Iituem writing the fluff will avoid any arguments we might have over creative content.

Iituem is like the glue that holds the game together, if everybody starts using their own glue, things will probably start to fall apart. Depending on multiple people can be risky.

Spoiler: Monoliths (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Joulan & Jouli (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Jeff (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Urist (click to show/hide)

Scenario Trial:  The Butterfly Flaps Its Wings

Thanks to the intervention of Madric, the storms cease and relatively calm summers persist for the following decade.  Despite the near-suicide of the Cult of Storms, this more benevolent aspect of weather gives rise to small gatherings of followers in the new colony and an overall boom in population.

+1 to Xenopross Pop in all hexes, 1 religious unit to Madric in G5.

Scenario Trial:  The Elephants' Graveyard

The shells of the dead continue to accrue in F16 and the apparently haunted nature of the place has made an already harsh and unforgiving wasteland that much harsher and unforgiving.

Difficulty of settling F16 increased.

Scenario Trial: Raiders

With the successful defence of the Hammerites, led by the apparition of the serpent demigod Verinaath, the black beasts are driven back into the northern forests.  Although Verinaath's sole effort to strike at them at the source fails, they are sufficiently cowed and cease raiding the Jottar in future.

No attack from black beasts.

EP To Burn

Monoliths: +5 EP

Bhuur: +4 EP

Golems: +5 EP

Jottar: +4 EP

Xenopross: +7 EP

Serani: +8 EP

A misplaced spoiler tag caused the PPT results be merged with Bhuur's.

Edit: Okay, Iituem fixed it.

My question: does colonization use Population: Action or Population: Generation?

Luck was with me this turn, all of my actions were a success! However now I'm a bit worried that a greedy entitity might murder Endren's avatar and steal his cloak. That raises the question though, what happens if somebody else does aquire either Endren's, Joulan's or Jouli's artefacts? Are the cloaks passive or do we need to actively use them? Do they affect just the rolls, or can they do other things too?
