I wouldn't mind having the world-gen specifics too, that way I can get some unholy mass of the megabeasts I've picked up from mods and stuff.  Was it just the basic Standard-sized world-gen parameters with that seed?

That was insanely awesome. This little depression off to the side of the road, surrounded be bones and armor, leading down into a multilevel twisting cave system, with the stairs to the bottom level covered in blood. I was so expecting to get ambushed in there somewhere, but when he does pop out he gives a two page speech...

If it wasn't in such confined spaces, archery or throwing would be my best bet, but down there? Drowning him sounds like the only real alternative. If only...

I wonder, could this cyclops somehow use a weapon along with it's shield? Could we give it a crossbow?

He'd have to wrestle the crossbow from someone (not very likely). The tricky part would be giving him the ammo.

Pretty simple, really.  Just hold a ton of weapons in your hands when fighting him.  The chance for him to grab one will be significantly increased, and then it's just a matter of letting him take it.

I would say either mace or spear.

But what are the chances of him using wrestling versus shield bashing? And if we hold a ton of weapons, can we still use our shield? No chance of surviving long enough, unless a legendary shield user can handle this.
