How 'bout this?
The city of Prophets.A city going to be ran and built by highelves.The city will be centered around a large set of gardens made to support the city.The city will be large and prospurous and have around 300 residents.The only underground buildings will be food storage and a quarry.
The Citys main monument is going to be atleast 12 storys high and 5x5 units sqaured

(im talking about highelves those ones that like metal they use trees as logs and charcoal
and they kill they're cousins that live in the forests)

Yeah and no offense, but my experience is that it's usually pointless to try to rewrite old great stories, because it will always be compared to the original and even in the unlikely scenario that it's better, it would still suffer from being unoriginal. Try to make your own story and explore new places instead

Nothing can be "just like" Boatmurdered. It either is Boatmurdered or it isn't. The only thing that comes close to reaching the same epicness that is the saga of Boatmurdered is Nist Akath, and yet Nist Akath is still no Boatmurdered.

So basically, even if it is 3 times better than the original, people will still be loyal to the old one and like it more.

Unfortunately, I am inclined to agree with the fellows above me. A fortress in the fashion of Boatmurdered, perhaps named something similar, yet different, might be fun, but it won't ever quite do justice to the original.

Also, sorry to shatter your dreams and all, but a lava-flooding device might be hard to implement, what with lava supplies being limited (I think) and fluids using so much more processing power these days.

Also also, be sure to modify elephants back to their former deadliness.

I'm with everyone. Don't just try to copy Boatmurdered. Lava (or even water) flooding weapons are much more difficult to set up (and survive) in 3d, and while everyone building some crazy monument or trap (<cough>Kulettögum</cough>) is a nice idea, it won't work as well if you're just building what Boatmurdered built because Boatmurdered built it.

There's an existing thread playing the old 2d game where several people are planning on building lava-based Doom Weapons if you want to join that, or you could stick with this succession game and just build crazy stuff, but call it something else (Yachtmangled? Shipkilled? Sailmaimed?) and go with whatever's fun, not just with what somebody's done before.
