I was getting the database error most of the day today.

Yep, the forum was down for a long time.  :-\

*edit*

..problems again, the forum's server is very slow/lagging/whatever quite often. It takes up a lot of time to navigate between the topics.

Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on with the database.  I've written the support people but I have no idea if that will produce any results.

Yesterday the stability was on and off, today I was entirely locked out, right now the board seems to be working better then ever.

I hope it lasts... for a while there I thought I would be unable to speak on the forums due to making this a Firefox only forum or something.

I'd honestly prefer a stable service over fast service.
 
Recently every time I check the site it's a crapshot on weather or not it's working. Quite annoying.

Yeah, there are problems with the forum again today. This current service is fast, and probably stable also, we have some database problems I guess.
