[40d] Flows can push wagon-pulling animals into walls.
« on: October 06, 2008, 04:31:38 am »

I set up a deathtrap for disposing of unwanted traders. It involved a trade depot on a platform and a pressurized water.
Code: [Select]
###########   # Wall
###     ###   I Raised Bridge
##       H#   X Lowered Bridge (Also where the flow was coming from)
#  O...O  #   O...O Trade Depot
#  .....  I   Empty Space = Empty space (a deep pit)
#  ..O..  I   H = A wall with a horse in it.
#  .....  I
#  O...O  #
##  XXX  ##

Once I opened the bridge that was holding back the flood, the two wagons were pushed to the northern edge (they were too big to fall down, surprisingly). One of the wagons hit the cornertile marked with H on the schematic in such a way that one of the horses pulling it was pushed into the wall. Then the room filled with water, and the wagon drowned (or was destroyed, whatever) leaving the horse behind, alive.
I can provide a save if necessary.

Yeah, due to how wagon pullers are actually classified as riders with a displaced position, they don't see the walls at all right now.  It might change when I get to siege engines or boats.
