When I created a loom to start weaving thread into cloth, I noticed that for some reason web collection was automatically added to the list.  I deleted it, but when I came back, the same job had been added back onto the list without any action on my part.

I have a revealed chasm on my map with numerous spiderwebs in it.  Careful observation revealed that the job will only be added without my interferance if there is a clear pathway from the loom to the spider web source.  Forbidding the doors to the mine will clear the problem. 

Even if the loom's entire job list is filled with other activities, the last job will be replaced with the collect webs job as soon as the game is unpaused.  If my savegame will help, I've put it off to one side and it is available on request.

Have you tried going to Workshop Orders (under (o)rders from the main menu) and turning off "Automatically Collect Webs"? I believe it's in there beside Auto Tan and Auto Butcher.

You can 'suspend' jobs instead of canceling. It shouldn't reappear.
This is not a bug either.

Oh, well that would do it then.  Now I know what the orders menu is for!  Sorry for the mistake!
