Journal of Zak:
3rd of limestone, year 301, early autumn

Thank god. The speardwarf that came with us decided to screw waiting for the farms to give food and went hunting with his spear. To great effect.

He later brought back 2 kills, providing almost everyone with enough meat to stave off hunger for awhile. He really is quite a useful person!

Journal of Zak, 4th entry:

Remember the spearman I was talking about?

He was shortly incinerated by a angry magma man.

Dammit, is even nature against us!?

Journal of Zak, 5th entry:

Salvation!!! They have arrived!

We traded for food and a barrel of alcohol, for some much needed relief. In return, we unloaded a ton of stone crafts made by me to pay. Its not like we have any shortage of it.

After they left, Viktor wasn't happy. Appently, he was a good friend of the spearman who was incinerated to a crisp. He threw the bolts that he was holding around the place, ran around crying for a bit and then went inside and calmed down. Thank god he didn't shoot anyone.

Journal of Zak:

3rd of Hematite, Year 302, Early summer

We've been out here for a year, and it has gone so quickly. There were some deaths last year, our weaponsmith was roasted by the magmaman, and this year also started with tradgedy.

Our freind, Sockmaker, was incinerated by the foul citizens of the magma tube. A imp specifically, who was then ripped limb from limb by Captain Affy. But not before killing the mayor...

The magmaman has also made a return, but was killed by a rush by (urist) and Sterling. May it rot in the hells...

But we have good news! Two waves of immagrants have arrived in the early winter of 301 and mid summer of 302! This means that we are up to about 50 dwarves, whos profiles I will list later.

The deaths only reinforce our mind on shutting away the danger from outside...

Sorry about the death of Sockmaker! That imp came from nowhere! I swear! If you want a new dwarf, feel free to describe what you want!

AS for everyone else, plenty to go around!

So, are we allowed/encouraged to write side journals for our dwarves (of course, assuming it doesn't go against the real story)?

Also, how's Lugnut?

Please, do so! Its much more fun that way and involves you guys as well!

Lugnut has been quiet lately, i'll check tomorrow. She should be fine, but was unhappy before, due to the spearmans death. Poor fellow...

Wait, why are we building a ROAD? So the goblins know where to look?

Also, did you do anything to make goblin sieges have more gobbos? That would be quite awesome.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.
