[Thingy Master]

I've got a rather difficult one.

In one of my earlier fortresses I had a horrible streak of unicorns killing dwarves.
This lead to all my engravings depicting unicorns killing or laughing at dwarves wile they whimper. At the same time many of the dwarves went crazy from dear friends being slaughtered by the one horned equine menace.

Here's what resulted.

I engraved my entire legendary dining room with the unicorns triumph. Many of the ones that went berserk were captured in the many cages that littered my fortress. I then 'b'uilt those cages into my dining room to make a zoo of berserk dwarves along with some of the more notable unicorns that I caught (a.k.a. the ones that were named).

In doing so I made the most horrific thing I've ever imagined in Dwarf Fortress and I'm greatly proud of it. I wish I had only waited later in that fortress to engrave the dining room. I had killed off about 20 puppies for food and started getting screaming puppies engravings. Would have added to the ambiance of the dining room.

I can understand if this is far to complex for a simple sketch but I've been wanting to depict this dining hall of misery for a long time now. Thanks in advance.

How do you avoid having the light of the scanner reflect off of the pencil markings?  Or do I just have a crappy scanner?

On the subject of woodcraft artifacts that are decidedly not-awesome, I got a wooden blowgun that took my last 3 logs.
I should have let that dang bowyer go insane.

Could you draw a dwarf in full exceptional steel plate mail wielding two hammers beating the crap out of an entire legion of goblins with an arrow sticking out of his left lung? It would be a great honor to Hammertime, who was recently forcefully retired beating back a squad of goblin bowmen.

I'd like to see your take on this:

Twelve goblins, all on beak dogs, wielding spears and being led by a swordsman. The leader is getting run through by a ballista bolt and they are all charging down a narrow canyon being peppered by marksdwarf fire. Also, there're two soapmakers in their path(they wanted some socks or somesuch).

I *always* have to laugh when I read this and a little pic forms in my mind. So I'd simply love to see this sketched.
