Sweet, just got a 3rd legendary carpenter. My artifact chair and table combined is enough to just barely make a room royal (10,800) but at least I can have a king :D

Best-case scenario is if he like animal traps, that way I could use the other wooden artifact. It's worth 6000 which would be overkill though :D

Oh, pumping is still coming along. The problem is, the more walls I put up, the more pressure there is on the areas left, so smaller and smaller windows of time are created that would allow my dwarves to erect the ones that are left.

You do realize that you've recreated New Orleans, right? :D All it needs is one good hurricane....

It can be Venice if you re-flood the bottom layer.

Yep, that's the plan.

I know this is necromancy, but I never got how this was supposed to be detached from the mainland. Does he intend to build his fortress entirely underwater by pumping out two Z levels below his current surface, building his fortress (and more pumps) from there, with, at best, just the windmills connected to power his further pumping, leaving one hermit at the top of the world left to fend for himself after sealing off the dwarves staircase entire the aquadome and them letting the water re-flood?
