Well, i've been playing for the grand total of 5 minutes...

And i've permaflooded the fortress already...

Basically, a stupid cow calf thought that it would be a good time to go through a door when I tried to flood the farms

Stupid cows...

This is going to be great!

Pictures:

Use tinypic.  Go to http://www.tinypic.com , upload your image, then copy/paste the code in the box marked
"IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" where you want the image to go in your post.

Like this:

The code for that image looks like:
Code: [Select]

You may want to hit "preview" after the first image, so you know you are doing it correctly.

Ok... I've lost about 3 months work because of a fatal error... Sorry guys, I'm kinda pissed off and I won't do anything more tonight.

I'm planning on posting all the stuff in one go, just in case other things like this happen. It sucks.

Like my teacher says in shop, "SAVE!"  or else he'll come up to you and cancel out what you've been working on.

My teacher says same thing...only she unplugs the cable that not only disconnects from the internet, but disconnects me from the school network, preventing me from saving my work... or anything at all..since then I carry a big ass flash drive.

btw I'll join in if possible.

I haven't played 2d before, and I don't think I'm that good of a dorfan guy, therefore I am the best candidate for this endeavor.

Typically of me, something happened to my computer again while i was working on this. I've lost most of the stuff I used do to the BSOD, which forced me to reset the system from an earlier date, now not only have i lost a good 6 months of work and write ups, I can not seem to get past the 14th of Hematite without a Fatal Error. Any tips? Or should we just skip me and let the next person do it?

I think we should have (at least) two people do the turns at once, seeing how the success:fail rate is about 1:5.

If two people get done, vote on which one to take.
