Watchtower of Kings:

Done- it's a small fort, because I got sick and would just have to wait to make anything really big and creative. But it's a fort nonethless.

Download here.

I don't really know about megaupload, but the DF file depot is preferable.

I like Megaupload because I don't have to register.

Mildly irritating waiting time and the spamming of banners... indeed, dwarf file depot is better. But whatever works.

I guess ill download it and put down a fort of my own unless there are some sufficientelly convincing arguments.

Hey, if you want to upload it to the file depot, shoot.

And I think Deandet wanted the next slot...

Sure ill put it on DFD, as soon as I finish my fort ;)

Also, I allready made several posts before asking for the next spot, but it seems that doesnt realy work here. It just seem to be that the first to come gets it.

Ill try not to take long.

8 fortresses in almost a year is 'good'?

yeah, it's a pity so many people got half-finished or whatever... hopefully 41a will have a new Traps and Attractions thread, in which we'll be more successful.

I don't think traps in adventure mode (or much of anything in adventure mode) where worked on in this version, sadly. So you still have to either turn traps off or remove everything that isn't a pressure plate.

I think you don't understand what I mean. It's not about them being overpowered or game-breaking. It's about them not working! At all! Same with pressure plates.

It's my impression that the reason they don't work at all is governed in the init file. You can turn them on and off.

Unfortunely that tag seems to be broken on the current release.

I'll totally join in the next one, just tell me how to mod dwarves to stop eating and sleeping, and I can get a nice dungeon/fort/castle thing running.

Its kinda funny how many times people have come into this thread telling everyone that we just need to adjust our init file to get those pressure plates working.
