Hit the road, Jack, and don't you come back no more.

Supreme Court of Florida has disbarred Jack Thompson, unless he manages to do something about it in 30 days...

GTA lovers rejoice, but I guess that will reduce the publicity for Rockstar games a bit. :)

p.s. Am I right in the assumption that John and Jack are effectively the same in english?

John and Jack aren't interchangeable, if that's what you're asking; they are both very common first names, however.

VN is eerily dead today...

Took long enough.  I wonder what he'll do with his time now that he's just another talking head?

The only person I've ever heard of who interchanged John and Jack was President Kennedy, and it never made sense to me either.

Yeah its great and all, except all he has to do is move to another state. He was disbarred from FLORIDA. That doesn't stop him from setting up shop again anywhere else unfortunately.

I suspect a permanent disbarrment without hope of appeal for basically will make the other courts think twice.
