Aqizzaaaaar... come baaaaaack.  :P

Edit: Oh hey:

How much bandwidth does the game use?

        * The rate is approximately 1.2 kbyte/sec upload and 1.2 kbyte/sec download per client. Multiplying that up, a 10-player server will use approximately 12 kbyte/sec up and 12 kbyte/sec down (the exact numbers will depend on the number of retransmissions etc.). Therefore, a 10-player, 24/7 server will consume 60 Gbyte/per month of bandwidth if all 10 players are connected the whole month.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

I wasted all my money making a non-functional oil tanker route.  What happens if you run out of money anyway?  Is there a way to restart a player?

Players in MP are just clients.

The company is what has all the money/power, and it can be composed of 0-10 players.
If you leave the game, you can choose to come back either within the old company, or as a new company.

Yeah like jaybud said, you can just start a new company and I can kill the old one if you want. But... just so you know your debt's been paid off  :P

Who's that SOB that paused the game and ran? That would be me, sorry. I didn't want you guys to have to wait while I downloaded the map. With my connection, it would have taken a few minutes.

Aww that's sad. We were curious about who it was though. I don't remember the openttdcoop server pausing when new people joined, though, so I feel like I should be able to fix that. But yeah, bed time for me. I'm gonna leave this game going as long as people want me to and if you want a restart, just let me know. I don't THINK it stops the game automatically...

So, the computer that was running the server restarted overnight apparently. I think I loaded from the right autosave, though. Sorry if something's not right, but it looks like roughly the right amount of time passed.

So for some reason when I got on the server just now, my company was no longer password protected. Doesn't seem like anybody touched it, so unless it happens more often, I'm fine.

Also, twice now, I have left the server for a few hours and upon returning, all of my planes are missing. I find it hard to believe that they crash that frequently, especially because bluerobin still has 16 aircraft.

Oh sorry about the password. When I reloaded it I forgot to mention that it apparently cleared passwords. No idea about your planes though. They start crashing a LOT when they get old, but I dunno how old yours were.
