Coming up on level 10 mining and level 6 fuel synthesizer.
Do you think we could colonize an entire Bay12 solar system?

Location 5:166:11
system populated with a minimum of 2 colonies and 5-6 homeworlds.
Application to alliance sent.

buildings; 3:1:0:2
currently waiting for metals to accrue for energy plant upgrade...then a shipyard I guess?

Early game seems to be: build metal mines and keep up with energy demand.
Haven't gotten beyond that. :p

So I suppose we dwarves are going to be turtled merchants?

Ok, Goals - Find a system (or two) we can dominate. Really really fastly, We all need to get a large foot hold on a system or else we'll be spread too thinly. I suggest looking for one. Other than that, read my message i sent and comment (Send me some mail plz, you guys arn't using it)

Well sure, I'd be happy to serve my king, once I got an economy going.

I'm not sure how a boatload of crystal on a single planet in a distant sector will help the empire much.

Shouldn't we (as fresh serfs) be focussing on 1-homebase industry
2- colony ships to send to Dwarf dominated systems
3- paying tribute to the king.

What are the overall plans on expansion/consolidation?
-A player can only hold 8 planets,
-there are a maximum of 15 planets per system,

This would limit us to only one systems per 2-3 members. Is it wise to be so concentrated?
How does transport work?
-Can you (king) send a cargoship to pick up resources from distant sectors without much hassle
(instant travel) or is there a distance modifier involved?

So...
Shall I attempt to focus on producing colonyships to send to 'Dwarf-sector' or dig in and become a miner? (have no idea how this game works)

I believe trade is only one way, I can send you resources, then the ships trundle home, or vica-versa.

But yeah:
1 - Ofcourse, I don't want to kill your industries.
2. Yeah, obviously.
3. plz and thank you. I've been attacked sooo many times its not funny. I've lost well over 100000 crystal.

Plans? Well, send out as many colony ships as you want, but once we agree on a system to dominate then we shall strive to do so.

sounds like a mandate to me.

We seem to be concentrated in 3:X:X if that means anything.

I'm going to try to dominate in 4:116. I believe concentrated groups of planets of the same players are better then scattering our planets with those of other players.

However, I shall do so as my king commands

Can't play that game anymore.  Massive time sink, and no fun if I can't sit in IRC with my alliance plotting fleet actions.

lol. Ever played VGA planets?

I got "Bad Boys" and "BIG BANG" as neighbouring alliances.

Just some basic questions: there are currently 7 inhabited planets in my system, one colony was recently destroyed...the entire planet it was on that is. (I figure this was a highlevel empire that got into a war, which doesn't touch 5 point empires)
are the remaining slots empty space or uninhabited planets?

Found it: all empties are pot.colonies.

I got to a point of 6/4/2/6 in basic buildings, should I spend my first 200 deut on a research or on a robotics?
I'd like to get fusion power asap, as in orbit 11 I guess solarpower is poop.
But I'd also like a shipyard to begin building 'defences'.
ed. Chose the robotics as I didn't have enough crystals.

ed2.Carp! Couldn't anyone have mentioned looking around nextdoor systems costs Deut!
For HFS sake, why can I scout without ships in other systems, but not locally?

Doing okay way out here in 4:416.  I'd love to join in on conquering a hub system, but I'm pretty far from everyone else.  Is that a problem?

Man, I've got some resources going on in my tiny fiefdom.  Pity my fleet of fighters got wiped out by a big attack.  In response, I've built loads of light lasers, and tonight I'll be able to build heavy lasers.  Pew Pew!
