I finished my turn. In the end I wrote a boring old story, not as exciting as I originally planned. For this I blame my English research project that I handed in today. I had to rush the writing part to finish my assessment.

Hello, all.  I've been enjoying reading this succession game so far, and thought I'd ask if I could be added to the end of the list.

Seeing as we've had no migrants thus far, I'm not going to ask for a dwarf right now.

I'm surprised your character didn't get snuffed Charlemagne.  He didn't run from the 5 enemies, he just ran past them and around enemy marksdwarf and 3 swordsmen and you didn't even get hit.

Yeah I was pretty sure he was doomed when I was reading that too. Charlemagne seems to live a charmed existence.

This would be my first time playing a succession fort, but I've played quite a lot on my own so if it's fine, I'd love to take a year!

Edit: Oh by the way, I have loads of time on my hand and my other AAR wouldn't interfere with this as most of the time I'm just waiting for my wingman to hand in pictures ;)

Finished my turn. Posted in the story thread along with a link to the map and save. Kind of got a little dull at the end.

I get the feeling that we may never get any immigrants or dwarfen caravans, as nothing turned up during my turn and dwarves weren't listed in the civilisation screen.
