(and something that my son wouldn't be made fun of for having)

Uh, what?  You don't think little Tarnation would be made fun of in school?

Tarn is also a kind of lake, apparently.

Urist would indeed make a great middle name.

Maybe I should make it one of my middle names, lol.

Well, seeing that Tarn is an actual name (and something that my son wouldn't be made fun of for having) I will have to go with that, but his middle name will be Urist.
Makes sense, combines the two hight name choices. Besides its not like your middle name ever gets called much  ::) anyway it would help for when he is in trouble. *TARN URIST GET DOWN HERE!*

The world was a better place when there were ramifications for unrelenting douche-baggery.

Well...  Then again, maybe not.  But there should still be consequences for it, regardless of the other awful parts of that time of the world.

Does "sacrifice my first born to Armok" counts as a valid answer ?

Urist has just been added to my list of names for my children.  After all DF is part of my heritage now, which I must pass to my descendants.

The scary part is that I can't tell if some of you are joking or not.

"it" is DF, right? Because the alternative is too weird even for a DF player... (yes having more Urists with your Tarnuristarmok, is weirder than marrying a game. )

I tried to play chess but two of my opponents were playing competitive checkers as a third person walked in with Game of Thrones in hand confused cause they thought this was the book club.

It gets even wierder if you do the deed DF-style i.e. from 3 miles away while making glass blocks.
