remove air rifles, and all parts from the raws, then you embark with normal guns... I think.

I just downloaded it and figured out there are no anvils effectively screwing you.

Nver mind I changed the raws to make all metals to make anvils.

It won't be an update, it will be a new mod :). Too many raws were changed.

If you want a mod with guns, I can shamelessly advertise my own wasteland mod. If you really want zombies, I can make an addon to it with different Zeds.

As far as a new version of this is concerned though, I think that kind of project should definitely wait, seeing as the primary mode of defense is ranged weapons, the training and use of which are currently broken.

Yeah but I still have a lot of fun in adventure mode and in dwarf mode with my guys in security armor with batons and chainsaws :).

This mod seriously needs balancing.

I just lost two settlements in the first year. The first saw a few lost to roving zombies, but immigrants evened out the numbers. However, as a large number of survivors were out of the compound, a siege arrived and tore the semi-bustling settlement to bits.

Next, I started out in what seemed to be a good location. I could see a chasm, but didn't pay it any mind. However, before I could even finish out the first season TWO GCS AMBUSHES HAPPENED. I CANNOT CONTAIN MY RAGE.

This "outdated crap" is someone's hard work and time. The newest version of DF came out... two days ago?

Can you mod? I had a smallish civ mod I made several versions back and just looking at the new features and RAW stuff I'll have to do to get it back up to speed is intimidating. I don't want to think of the work something like this will take.

Be patient, ok? I'm sure they are busy.
