I'm going to build an obsidian beehive.

This could be a community fortress if people are interested. If nobody objects, I think I'll embark in a desert.

And yes, that's all. Do I need to write more?

Yeah. Basically an enormous construction of hexagons made out of obsidian. And inhabited by bearded, nonflying bees.

 Interesting. Be sure to have an obsidian lair instead of a general farming system. Must faster to mine than to make new obsidian. Unless you want to make a giant casting.

How are you going to do the diagonals?  Open, or closed?

I'll be using open ones, but putting doors there.

Awesome!  You gonna do the hive structure?  Queen bee and such?

That might actually be rather fun. Having all the female dwarves be workers, and the males be soldiers? Sounds somewhat difficult, but doable.

I'm not stupid. I'd come after you with a crossbow and shield.

Still, I'm letting you readers, in true community fort style, lay claim to your own dwarves. Skills, name, gender and whatnot.

And hey, at least we'll have a lot of soldiers to guard us so we won't need traps ^w^

I think I'll mod the game so that female dwarves are named workers and male ones drones. Even if I can't make the queen the only fertile one...

Well, funnily enough, if the woman are all working, they won't have time to be shagging the soldiers.

Except the queen, who should sit around doing nothing.
