Hiding engraving
« on: September 10, 2008, 09:00:44 am »

Okay, I know it's possible to hide the individual icons for engraved tiles, so they all show up as a uniform grey, but is it possible to hide that as well? I really like the way the fort looks when it's just smoothed stone (I get a headache otherwise) but obviously you need to engrave everything to get a valuable fort. Is it changeable at all?

you can hide the new engravings by changing a init option.(don't know exactly wich but all of them are explained in data/init/init.txt)

It's something about "engravings start obscured" -> YES.

I don't think it can do what you want.  You might try adjusting the color scheme to get something less headache-inducing.  (Personally, I adjust brown to html Gold and dark blue to html Dodger Blue.)
