Mayor looking for a fortress!
« on: September 09, 2008, 11:24:32 pm »

I want to take part in a succession game, and I want to play my turn *right now*. For the next 20 hours, I can play DF without interruption. If you have a succession game that needs an on-call mayor, please notify me via #Bay12Games IRC on WorldIRC (my nick is Tyr) or via forum PM, or AIM (Nemmers33)

I don't care if your fortress is buggy, crappy, or laggy, my computer can handle a full-chunk embark fortress, I just want to get in the saddle ASAP. First come, first served! :)

I have created over 20 mature fortresses, but I've never done a succession game before.

I guess message boards don't do 'right now'. But you could always make your own succession game and do your starting turn.

You used the image I posted about the carp as an avatar. At least give me credit.

Wait... you want someone to give you credit for a picture that you didn't take, that found somewhere on the internet?  "Giving credit" doesn't work that way.  You didn't even credit the photographer when you linked the image.

Cmon, that guy is always being an attention whore. Let him alone. It works for him. :P

Your avatar is of a hairy-chested open-shirted clown wearing disturbingly bright colours and, as far as I can tell, a ball-gag.  I'm reasonably sure gaity is not an issue here.

Back to topic, though, sorry.  No open succession games I can tell you about that need a fellow desperately.  Why not try running a community fortress?
