[40c] Speardwarves not using spears

Every speardwarf that I recruit becomes a wrestler, and any migrant 'speardwarves' are wrestlers.  One of my speardwarves lost to a lizardman in a wrestling contest despite the fact that he had that iron spear until he died.

Hope this gets posted, my internet here is having problems.

This could be related to bug 970 - "dwarves continue to use their best weapon skill during sparring rather than the weapon they are assigned"

It was fixed in 40d, though I suppose it does sound a little different to your bug.
