Surely that way lies madness and things made of chocolate.

As long as it's real chocolate, and not that white pseudo-chocolate confection.

I tell ya, white "chocolate" is a conspiracy! Perpetuated by elite factions of communist governments in an attempt to socialize cats across the world. Say no to white "chocolate"!!!!!

Always causing troble where ever you go aren't we?

I agree with the person who said the internet is not to be trusted. Rule 34 is the prime examble of this.

When will the next version be out?

1295... . lessee...  about 22 DF days per month...  almost five years.

when is the release of the army arc

If this release is five years, and it removes 2 of the basic army arc goals, leaving 11...  that means 27 or so years after that...  so the army arc release is in 32 years.  2040 will be the year.  Mark your extended Mayan calendars!

Answermy questions.

How am I supposed to paint without any spray?  Geez!

I'm working on a lot of things so I wouldn't be surprised if the next release doesn't happen this year (there are only about 50 work days left, after all, so I'd need to tick off 25 items a day to be done).  I really have no idea how long some of it will take.  Most of it is easy, but there are going to be some irritating parts.

The army arc won't be done for Years.  But I'm working on many other arcs at the same time, so it's not exactly a directed effort.

Hey Toady, what should we all do if you die before the game's finished? Candlelight vigil, right?

Exploding cats can occur when giant cave spiders are around...

Rather than having them directly force you to mine adamantine, I would suggest that they give you strange moods that require adamantine. "Dig out the adamantine or Urist here goes insane and dies" is suitably vicious.

(It occurs to me that you can probably get "Lovecraft" as the random name of your fortress. That's when you know you're screwed.)

I keep getting this mental image of Toady opening up his door one day to see a dozen kegs of beer and 7 bearded people with shovels and axes all looking to him for orders.  I say we undermine the whitehouse and set toady up as the low king.
