The list needs descriptions... and ratings...

Ratings? Why would you base yourself in ratings? Furthermore, who would rate them? Would you believe them? If it was a mass collection of votes, I find people to be -=STUPID=- so why would I believe a bunch of people to rate games for me?

Oh well, if you really need that, make a site that has both.

I can't believe nobody has suggested Incursion yet.
http://www.incursion-roguelike.net/

It's very fun very well made roguelike where you can do all kinds of fun stuff. There are a few bugs around still that can be irritating but it's still very fun.

I should point out that right now it only has one very large very fun dungeon, but that probably won't really matter to you.

But is it fun?

Nearly all the worthy roguelikes are already mentioned. If you didn't hear about it - try GearHead1. It has several really unique features. I don't know if you can compile its pascal code under Mac though. Doesn't Mac have emulators like dosbox or wine anyway?

It is just that... with that site... Id have to dig through a bunch of REALLY BAD roguelikes to get fun ones

My favorite Freeware site... that had ratings and a description... went under

ADOM has a great overworld but I hate the controls so much that I can't play it.
I especially like the controls in this game. They're simple and easily remembered, unlike a lot of other ones.

I could quickly whip up a site with ratings, self controlled descriptions, etc. The only problem would be getting people to use it.

I like that site because it's somewhat well updated, I get to browse things myself and I find most rogue-likes to be good by default.

I use that list all the time, I found just about every rouge I play there. Personaly though I like it better without ratings. Its just a list, its not some biased review site.

what I would like would be if it said platforms and descriptions. With ratings and comments people who can't believe that a game doesn't have graphics would just be stupid.

Then how about a Rating system out of 2 or 3...

Without a rating system then you need an in depth description...
