You use that mine you picked up earlier in the level on the teleporter that the guy who shoots Dan comes out of.

Interestingly, Armok's name actually originates from arm_ok, a variable in one of Toady's earlier games that kept track of how many of your arms weren't missing.

Actually, if you'd gotten all the ribbons up to that point, it would help.  But they're not necessary at all.

Ribbons do affect the story? I thought so, but couldn't fathom how and haven't played throught enough times yet to check.

They modify dialog in minor ways, there are no major benefits for collecting them unless you are a completionist or want to see all versions of the dialog.

If you're having trouble figuring out the solution to saving Dan, collecting all ribbons up to that point will give you a major hint.  IE if you haven't already figured it out, you'll basically be going "OHHHHH NOW I GET IT" at that point.

just announcing my release of 'PassivePack' - alternative music pack for Iji:

http://www.mediafire.com/?n1uz2gzghko

This is a subtlely sedate'ish music pack designed specifically for for those wanting a different feel upon replaying through on hard and other levels.
It's sanctioned by Daniel except for hero3d.mp3, which I courteously removed due to the fact that the
original is a cover of a Machinae Supremacy song "Hero", which he likes, and doesn't want anything replacing it-

Feel free to redistribute elsewhere.
All music by Me. (www.mattbentley.net)
Cheers-

I love this game. Love it. I need to get all the endings now. need.

Also, I don't know why but Asha is grossly unappealing in that picture.

I see, I did notice that but I thought it had been like that all along. So I didn't bother to investigate much. Thanks for the tip.

have added a secondary download location for that reason:
