Boss fights count.  The other boss fights have a way around them.  Some alternate methods of dealing with problems are...trickier than others.  You can finish the game with 0 kills, and yes, it does change some stuff near the very end.

PS:  Keep talking to the last person you can talk to on a pacifist run for some slight amusement.

There is a way to get past Asha. Unless the kill you got wasn't him? But yeah, bosses count and you can get around them. Usually by simply playing pacifist, if you do nothing other than not kill peopl the opportunities usually just present themselves to you. Asha is trickier.

For the lack of new ending stuff for a pacifist run, the changelog in the readme mentions that he was planning on adding a new pacifist ending image but never got around to it.

First battle with Asha doesn't count. He just leaves, so he doesn't count as a kill. Same for the other assasins.

There comes a time when you must take off the soft, furry slippers of a boy and put on the shoes of a man.
Unless of course they don't fit properly and your feet blister up like bubble wrap.
Oh ho ho, but don't try to return the shoes, because they won't take them back once you've worn them.
Especially if that fat pig Tony is at the desk.

Who thinks the highest kill ranking should be changed from "One woman army" to "That time of the month"? Or is that too inappropriate?

It's kinda funny, but I'd bet the backlash from female fans means it wouldn't be worth it. Also it's not really a good enough joke to warrant it.

Well, it's kinda complex, but I think I can sort of explain the reasoning behind it:

He's a flipping idiot.
