I end up feeling so shitty about myself when I kill anyone that I always, always go for a pacifist run. Good times.

Yeah, since I actually play pacifist because I don't want to kill, I never take advantage of it.

I never would have thought that it didn't count...

I think I remember from my murderstorm run, a Komato log mentioning how reflected kills don't count.

Hmm. Doesn't really change anything, but it is interesting.

Does anyone know how to disable the auto-decrease in quality? It keeps kicking in during the final boss(which does cause slowdowns, but at the most epic moments).

No idea. Also, I'm at sector 7 on my pacifist run. Anybody have any ideas on how to get rid of beasts without technically killing them? All I got is get blasted by a shocksplinter while they are nearby.

I just finished it, I have to say I really enjoyed the game's music. I might have to put it on my ipod. For strange reasons it reminded me of Deus Ex, Phantasy Star Online and was really nostalgic. I have no idea why.

After finishing my "Innocent" run, I wholeheartedly agree (was coming here to post this).  It wrecks it pretty bad, for me.  It used to be "Oh, there's just enemies in there, I won't go in".  Now it's "Oh hey, these guys will shoot at me, I'll kill them with my reflection weapon".  Here's a tip, Iji:  If you are intentionally and successfully killing off Annihilators to take their nano, YOU ARE NOT A PACIFIST.  Especially if you weaken them with carefully-counted shots from other weapons first.

If you want to be a hardcore pacifist, don't create that weapon until just before you hit General Tor (or against turrets I guess).  When you do go after Tor however, remember that your Attack rating DOES IMPROVE YOUR REFLECTED SHOTS' DAMAGE.  If you bump it up to, like, 3 or 4 or so, the wimpiest Komato troopers go from needing two reflected shots to just one...which is nice.

I gotta say, though, I was kind of disappointed that

I just won this game on normal (non-pacifist) last night. Well, ended at 9 AM, so technically, I won this morning. Tried to do a pacifist run, but got kinda depressed that I got one kill this morning in that level with the assassin guy. I heard that it's possible to get 0 kills on normal, so I don't think boss fights count?
