its just a little thing, but for people with graphic packs it would give a little to the atmosphere, and indeed hat has use for the "no baby-armour womans in military"

the idea is simple: tileset raws can get an addional female tag to use another sprite than the male ones.

some would disagree for the dwarfes, but i am not a fan of the tolkien-female-bearded-dwarfs but anyhow for elves, goblins and humans it would be a really nice addition

It's probably already included in the plans for the Presentation arc or something, but I like it.

I, personally, would use it to distinguish between male and female lions.

We already have a distinction of names between male and female Bovine (Bulls, Cows), but they don't have a separate symbol/flag do they

As for the graphics I gotta say besides color I don't differentiate my dwarves and having females have slightly different graphics won't really help me differentiate them by a single glance. The only way I see them lookin different enough would be color changes but then I wouldn't be able to differentiate proffesiosn :X

I suppose more creative people then I are out there to help your plea though

lol, that's why I pointed it out to you.  Mainly because I've made a similar suggestion like yours this a long time ago, on allowing further specialization of gfx tiles for female beings/creatures

Now, I usually try to do a search on the dev page before I post a suggestion or report bugs so as to reduce redundancy.
