This challenge was too hard I suppose, it involved following my twisted thinking path, you win the challenge Zako, and will get a prize next turn (although Frelock may have beaten you to it, I'd have to check the dates),

Here is the conbulted answer.

Diameter * Pi = Circumference.
C /D = Pi.
C and D may not both be integers (def of IR)
Therefore, one of them must be irrational.
There can not be anyway to get the exact value of a IR number.
SO Pi must result from the approxamation of a number, leading to two tiers of error.

In related news, does anyone know how one can get around this problem (looks at Frelock)? Short of using super accurate circumferenct measurements, I don't see how pi can be claimed to be as exact as it 'is.'

Stand just inside the doorway and roar at the zombies to attract them and then beat them down one at a time using the doorway as a bottleneck. Then run really goddamn quick out of that junkyard and towards square eight before I attract too much attention. If I still have time I would like to find a store with some kind of footwear on display so I can hole up in there for a bit and maybe find some nice big boots for stomping and kicking heads in.

Yea, there is a way around it, but you need to know a decent amount of integral calculus.  Specifically, I learned the Leibniz formula for pi: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leibniz_formula_for_pi  Basically,  you end up adding an infinite string of ever-decreasing numbers (a series for you math people); the more numbers you add, the closer approximation you get.  Since you can never add an infinite amount of numbers, you will never get an exact answer. 

I hear there are better and faster ways to calculate pi, but I'll be darned if I know what they are...

Becuase you meet up with another player, and I wrote that turn before I saw how far you went. Plus, I hadn't planned it out yet (I have now). On the brighter side, you get a bike AND a gun. Alothough you lose one and wreck the other. It'll be up in a couple of minutes. Feel free to try question three while you're waiting. Sorry for the delay.

If the rifle doesn't already have one, I look around to try and find a sling, to help carry the extra weight, and reduce noise. I'll also look around for anything useful to carry the ammo boxes, and the pistol. Then I shall try to find a few small provisions, maybe a water bottle and enough food to last me for a day, to give me a moment to rest. After that, I'll, if possible, find a path to the rooftops, and look around from there with my binoculars/scoped rifle, whichever has better zoom capabilities. If anything of interest is apparent, I'll make sure I remember where it is before I rest, but otherwise I'll secure the entrances to the roof and settle down for a rest/sleep, to regain my energy.

If I can't get to the roof, I'll do the same as above, but with a window spot in a preferably small room on the highest floor available, or a larger store with those metal gates that close on the entrance to them. Any store will do, but I suppose a food store would be best if I feel the need for more provisions.

I had some more computer troubles coupled with laziness today (I wanted to sleep ). Anyway, your turn is now up Little. As a fun little bonus, I added another (easy) challenge to it. Even people who answered before are allowed to answer it.

I was midway through typing Little's turn when I realized that I had forgoten about Silu. Oops. 
To make up for it, you get a fun new toy Silu.

Anyway, get your next action in people. I never know when I'll have a chance to type and, right now, I could only do one person's turn, for various reasons.

Ok, intstead of going back to sleep, I just rest while being awake. I'll stay in a sitting position if I can.

And I have the answer, can I claim the prize for the newest challenge?

Jacob walks back to the bike and moves it inside the gun store. After that is done, he dumps the womans corpse outside and also checks if there is anything suitable for barricading or zombies that are too darn near for comfort. He then proceeds to get inside the gun store, closes the door and uses the bike and everything he found outside as barricading material (the windows are barred right? Most of the gun stores I know do). He also looks if the store has a backroom of some sort and searches it throught carefully, Glock ready to shoot any zombies that might lurk there.

If he does find anything suitable for barricading or something that NEEDS barricading, he does just that. If there are more zombies, he kills them and dumps outside. No need for rotting flesh to dampen the mood. If he manages to bring down a zombie that it is unable to move properly, he whacks it with his crowbar instead of wasting ammo unless it's an emergency. After this is done, he continues barricading the whole house to make it zombie-proof.

If he still has time, he eats a meal (if the store has anything to eat, he eats that (instead of wasting his own supplies) after checking it is not dangerous or anything (zombie-germs are bad)) and after that, if he feels that the house if safe enough, he takes a small nap. If he feels that it isn't, he searches and barricades it some more. He also takes the SMG, suppressor and all the clips he finds, fills them with ammo and stashes them into his bag with care. He leaves the shotgun where it was because he isn't that skilled with those. Any non-perishable food he finds is also placed into his bag.

Goals and Q's: Dump the corpse, barricade and search the rest of the building for anything useful or intresting. Intresting/useful stuff include other ways outside like a backdoor, barricading material, chains, locks, more ammo/guns and such. Also, is the store two-stories high? Basement (if there is, he searches it carefully with his flashlight)? Also, what skill does the SMG use and how much ammo do I actually have for my guns now? I'm staying here damn it.
