Squad 'Readers of This Thread' has been annihilated!
Apparently nobody read the entirety of my post.  How amusing.
I simply stated that, in EXCESS, it's quite unnecessary. One or two in a post is perfectly acceptable to me.  Of course, as long as it's not towards another person.  Call somebody a shithead, and you're liable to get a hurting laid on you.  (See what I meant in that first post now?)

Does anybody else think that story seemed a little bit sociopathic? Anybody?
Yes, they are just pixels, but that is hella creepy, man. Just ask some other adventurer to join you, for Urist's sake!

Well if calling shots is implemented, your going to get alot more sick and twisted situations then this, like someone stabing children in the stomach until they vomit to starvation, or someone choping off the feet of everyone in a town...

and that would be considered mild!

I would have just burned him down. And probably the whole town to boot. That way they won't aggro you.

I can't believe I have yet to attempt burninating citizens to death.

I must embark upon a quest of epic pyromancy now. I shall purge every human town with fire.

I tryed burning down villages before, all that happens is a bunch of smoke. The towns-folk just seem to ignore it though :( and it doesent even seem to touch the wooden buildings

I figured out the trick to attempting that.

Ignite several high-traffic areas of a town, then go to sleep someplace out of the way, such as the tavern. When you finish sleeping the fires will have spread to the nearby grass and the oblivious townsfolk ignite their clothing as they traipse through the flames.

Wait around in town like this as long as you can bear, then travel one tile on the regional map and come right back. The fires will be out and the scattered non-flammable remnants of the dead (weapons/armor) will be yours for the taking.

It's this kind of ###hole activity which is the reason my adventurers usually wind up impaled on a pike at the edge of town.
