Yeah, if you use the look command it'll say splattered blood/guts/ichor/vomit on the walls and floors.

I think you can also put them in a chokehold with a knife. sword.

This sort of doesn't make sense in that they shouldn't be choking...

A sword has generally one or two edges, right? You could choke someone with the broad, dull side of a sword, I guess.

Sure you could. I'd have a tough time breathing if someone was forcing mud down my throat.

It's an abstraction, sure, but it's not too far-fetched.

I was going by that normally, except for the text that goes, "you place a lock on the wolf's neck with your mud!"

How about grabbing an enemy's foot with your upper left arm and choking his throat with your lower left arm at the same time, and also breaking his wrist with your left hand? I'd vote that only one part of the same limb should be used for wrestling simultaneously.

I did the same thing after you first mentioned doing that, and then proceeded to have the random name generator give me someone with the last name "Diethroat".  Needless to say, lots of people died from him snapping necks, and choking others with one hand.

My current adventurer started in a human town they built over a conquered kobold cave.  As soon as I begin, I see announcements of a Giant Grizzly Bear attacking a shopkeeper.  My first quest:

Shibbi Armete: We are in Fralbus.
Shibbi Armete: Seek this place and kill the giant grizzly bear Prowledmartyred.


Edit: My immediate thought is, "Why not go kill her yourself, Mr. Axe Lord?" Nevertheless, I step out of the hall to go do battle with the bear. After a walk halfway through the town, my quest is over: I find my opponent, which has clawed apart two shopkeepers and a child in the meantime.

The ensuing battle is painfully anticlimactic. The first swing of my halberd results in a stuck-in; with a single twist, the previously unscathed bear loses consciousness. I proceed to strangle it for my first wrestling points.
