what if we hollowed out a mountain, filled it with magma with 100 pipes, made hatches at the top, then released all the pressure making a volcano that flings lava everywhere
Because last I checked, magma/lava doesn't pressurize.

Because last I checked, magma/lava doesn't pressurize.

Sure it does, you just need to pump it.

god i wish natural disaters were implemented into dwarf fortress....constantly changing the map and forcing you to adapt

Dwarves are already stupid enough to run into crossbows. God only knows what would happen in a flash flood situation.

I doubt it. Toady is an excellent designer. He wouldn't let that happen.

but how can you add stuff more code without putting a stain on your computer?

When I created a Hammerdwarf adventurer, I went to a dark tower to smash some gobbies. But, it turns out that there were two groups of gobbos fighting each other. I basically joined the side that wasn't trying to kill me, but I eventually got shot and killed by a bowman.

I've tried searching for more places that had the same species fighting each other but I haven't succeeded. So far, that was the only place I found.

Hello!

Okay, reading the information on the Wiki, I thought an item could be given one metal studding, one bone decoration, one gem encrusting only. But then, I noticed I could do more, and having a nickel chest with which I wanted to cheer up my cat owner Mosus, I got carried away a little bit:




So, we learn, even a chest costing 60 can become a chest costing 11100 - if only the player is silly enough :) :) :) :)

One item can have:
Every type of metal.
Every type of bone.
Every type of shell.
Every type of gem.

Doesn't take much to get insanity.
I had many items with 30 types of bone, all 24 types of decoration-usable metals (not even counting the several I've added), both turtle shell and lobster shell, and too many gems to count.
