Games of Legos.
« on: September 02, 2008, 12:57:43 pm »

Heyo people. I have this urge to play some lego games. So any help finding some would be appreciated.

I know about Blockland, but any others?

Thanks.

Lego StarWars, Lego Indiana Jones, Lego Batman...   Yeah, I know they're not really "lego games", but they're the latest anyway..

Yeah. I'm looking for Lego building/creating, so on. There was, once apon a long time ago, a Lego Creator game. It had a tendency to crash every five minutes though.

Roblox is one. I've fooled with it, it seems fun. Free too. and the blocks explode too.

Horrible community, and I consider the controls and building horrid.

Blockland would be better

But, I say you should try both roblox, and the blockland demo, so you can decide for yourself.

I played Lego Creator when I was a kid.  That was an awesome game, but it was bugged all to hell and trying to walk around was horrible.

There used to be this awesome flash game 'Stormrunner' on the MindsStorms site to promote their RCX system.  It was this way cool resource gathering, adventure, programming game where you crash landed on an alien world and had to find robot parts and grizzly shipwreck logs to escape.  What made it really impressive is that when I say "used to be", it was put on the site in 2000, and was more elaborate than the best stuff on NewGrounds.  It disappeared for a few years, then was back, but now it seems to be gone again.  Goddamn shame that is, I loved that game.
