Whew, sorry for the long delay everyone. I decided I needed a rest in the evening, and in the morning my ISP got all shifty with its servers again. I've been busy through the day (mostly setting up my laptop as my new workplace), but managed to finish the turn.
The turn is a milestone, turn 30, and HELLA DESTRUCTIVE! You will now understand why there are limits in this setting, and why it is sometimes better not to have any powers.
------------
Turn 30 ------------
I rip the hearts out of several elves near me and offer them as a sacrifice to Armok in exchange for greater power.
| Your blood rage and the strength of your armor combined, you jump into the nearest cluster of elves and try to rip their hearts out. Unfortunately for you, but probably fortunately for them, you underestimate your strength, you just tear the elven bodies into pieces.
| You kill three or four elves before you realise the futility of your efforts, but then get frustrated and just pummel six more into oblivion for the heck of it.
I propose a duel between me and the elven leader.
| As you open your mouth to speak, the elven leader says something and motions his hand in your direction. Two of the heavies suddenly charge at you with surprising speed!
| Encumbered by your armor, you cannot jump away in time and both heavies shoulder-tackle you to the ground!
| Your chestplate bears the brunt of the attack, but your upper body and arms are still battered. You feel one of your ribs break.
| You don't suffer any internal bleeding though. You are on the ground, dazed.
"i'll keep the enemyes far from the keep to allow dwarves and humans to rebuild the doors
and when i say ""keep the enemyes far from the keep"" i mean destroying any elf that even look at the keep in a bad way. i'll use everything i have: i'll bash them (or the ground if roll is good enough) with my hammer, i'll send lightnings, anything."
| Still excited with your new power, you decide to put it to the test. You concentrate, focusing your entire mind on your power, and call forth a lightning barrage that would surround the keep with an impenetrable wall of electrical force! Suddenly your power goes out of control and you expend it in one brilliant burst! You scream, and hold your maul above your head with both hands! A deafening blast of thunder heralds the coming of the ultimate attack. The entire keep, and a large portion of the ground around it are engulfed in electrical discharges!
Keep structure: {4} Despite being put against such energy, the old stone walls of the keep wistand the lightnings.
Tavern structure: {2} The old tavern, however, could not withstand such immense power. The poor building's supports burst into splinters, the entire building collapses, and its ruins burst into flame.
| Keep guards: {5} The chain- and plate-mail worn by the guards protected them from the arcing electricity.
Keep civilians: {5} Miraculously, the civilians were protected by the guards that surrounded them, since they drew off the deadly arcs.
Rooster: {5} The armor protected Rooster as well.
Gantolandon: {1} Being the only one unprotected among the guards, Gantolandon suffered severe injuries from lightnings. A lot of his skin is badly burned,
| the hand that held the dagger got burned particularly bad, and he's in severe pain, but he survives.
LASD: {3} Standing dead center under the lightning barrage, you suffered minor burns from electricity that managed to find a way through your armor.
Frelock: {5} Realising his danger in time, Frelock quickly put his staff down and hid under the siege engine. Lightnings spared him.
korora: {5} The entirety of the lightning bolt destined to strike you got absorbed by your artifact sword. It glows briefly, then goes dim again. You are unharmed.
Boksi: {1} You didn't have enough room to dodge, nor did you have enough time to throw away your halberd lightning rod. You are thoroughly sizzled by lightning.
| However, your carbon-weave skin and muscles prevent serious damage. Your skin is still charred a bit and hurts.
andrea: {3+2} Being resistant to lightning, your body ignores the electrical chaos around you.
Elven horde: {6} The bastard elves managed to run away far enough from the keep to be untouched by the blast.
After it all ends, you feel your power fade. (The only bonus you still have is radiant light and lightning resistance. You have a -2 to using your powers now.)
I take some dwarves with me (using sign language and grunts) and we proceed to rebuild the keep main door. We use the heaviest and hardiest metal we can find in the stockpile - yes, that means adamantine if there is any. If not, we will have to use steel or lead. The door, of course, will be spiked like a porcupine. If we can find cave spider venom barrels in the stockpile, we cover those spikes with it.
| Despite your injuries and pain, you manage to join the dwarves in their effort to clear the entrance and rebuild the doors, which they actually started themselves. However, you did help by pointing out the need for outer protection. The new doors are of heavy stone, reinforced with thick strips of steel, and menacing with long steel spikes on the outside.
I attempt to resurrect said dwarf, and practice the art of resurrection in general.
| LIVE! LIIIVE!! IT! IS! ALIIIIVE!!! Using the raging power unleashed by andrea, you imbue the broken body of the dwarf with life, and heal him completely. The dwarf looks at his hands, at his feet, then at you. Then his eyes water, and he locks you in a big bear hug.
| You're slightly deprived of air in the process, but the dwarf quickly releases his joint lock of your entire body. Looking him over, you see that he has brown hair and wears some blackish leather clothing all over his body.(You will now get a +2 on persuading this dwarf to do anything) You now know how to resurrect recently dead, but you need a large supply of electricity for it to work.
I'll examine the odd construction.
| Taking advantage of the chaos caused by andrea, and the resulting distraction of the guards, you manage to investigate the structure in detail. The structure looks to be a very intricately built container, a thick, meter-high pillar of steel and some sparkling metal, with four small keyholes on each of its four sides, and a large oddly shaped depression in the top of it. You KNOW that whatever the key is, it is inside of it. The guards suddenly turn their attention back to their job, forcing you to back off.
I'll attempt to concentrate all the life energies being released by all the death around me and crystalize it into a, well, crystal.
| You focus and concentrate, but either there's not enough death going on, or something is preventing you from doing it - you cannot form any sort of crystal.
I motion to the Elf leader to challenge him, and while doing so attempt to learn Elven.
| You concentrate, much like you did before, and activate your band. You now feel like you can speak and understand elven. You speak to the leader, challenging him to a duel.
| The elf frowns at you, says "Take him down as well. I can handle myself." to the other two heavies, and motions his hand towards you. The heavies charge at you!
| You are too slow, and they shoulder-tackle you as well!
| SNAP! Your body breaks into two! Your legs remain standing, while your upper body falls to the ground. Both you and the heavies stare at the legs, somewhat surprised by this development.
| You try to rise up and strike the two, but the lack of legs doesn't register with you yet, and you drop back to the ground.
I try to learn how to move living beings without their own will. I'll use my knowledge of the power of peace and my persuasion skills to try to make the learning easier.
| As a kid, you probably were good with maths. Combining two and two, namely the power to mind-affect someone into paralysis and you persuasion skill, you quite naturally get five. After a bit of focusing on the peace power, you learn how to use it to actually tell someone to do something, like walk somewhere, instead of just doing nothing.
(AI) Looking over the whole army of the elves, I project an image of USS Enterprise-E into the sky above, and make every elf on the field see and believe it.
| You try to do it, but fail miserably, unable to encompass both such a large audience and such a large illusion. Your head hurts from the strain you tried to put yourself to.

NPC Actions:
Elica is a swordself. Recently hired by Frelock. He's armed with a wooden longsword, and dressed in (somewhat pierced) green-grey close-fitting clothing with scarce leaf-shaped decoration. Currently standing amidst the ruin of the tavern.
While it would be nice to have a sort of empathic link with your companion, you have no idea what he is doing.
This is the ballista operator dwarf who was resurrected by Frelock. He practically LOVES Frelock. Has brown hair and wears clothes of indiscernable blackish leather.
He clambers back onto his ballista, motions some haulers to bring him another bolt, and fires the one he already has loaded into the distance.
A sizeable threat to anything wearing leather or sleeping in wooden beds, this force of several thousand elves now surrounds the keep, and pretty much occupies the entire town. The elves withdraw from the keep for the time being.
With the immediate threat gone, the dwarves return to battlestations.

Elven assault! No players are in conditions applicable for the roll.

"A massive, massive, MASSIVE sword. It is three meters long, 1'3'' (~40cm) wide, and dazzingly bright. Its fine steel has been polished to reflect light like a mirror. Its one edge is curved, jagged at the hilt, the other is straight and so sharp it could probably slice adamantine blocks like salami. Down the center of the sword, which is at least 2'' thick, runs a hollow slit 3'' wide, in which yeat another, smaller and straighter sword is concealed. The entire surface of both swords, except of course the sharp cutting edges, is finely engraved with uncountable images, among which the launching of the Challenger, world war II, a nuclear explosion, a trainwreck, and a rotary excavator. The hilt itself (being at the same time the hilt of the smaller sword) is decorated with gold and emeralds you can only assume you've taken from someone, arranged in beautiful patterns, and the handle is woven with three lines - one is a scaly snake with two small rubies in the eyes, and two seem awfully like DNA strands. You get a feeling you could decipher the human genome if you looked closely enough. The guard of the hilt is exquisitely detailed as well, but right down the senter of it, spanning the breadth of the sword, is a solid rectangular golden plate, with the single word: ""ASHCRAVER"" deeply embossed onto it. The entire thing is so immeasurably brilliant, you almost don't want to touch it fearing it'll stick to your hand and corrupt you like some magic ring. Overcoming this fear, you pick it up. Despite its size, it is relatively lightweight, relatively, of course, to anything else so large and made of steel.
The second form is a smaller (comparatively) blade, that together with the folding hilt guard looks like an overgrown sai. It's also exquisitely detailed, but lighter. (+1 to damage, -1 to agility)."

---------
Environment:
Tavern: Was a two-floor building. Now it's a mangled fiery ruin. The building houses your enter/exit point, but how to use it is completely up to you now.
Human/Dwarven Capital: Large city on the outskirts of hell knows where. Holds a modest amount of homes, from hovels to two-floor apartment buildings, a set of shops, a temple, and a keep. Currently being surrounded by a verily horde of elves. The dwarves are mounting a large defence using siege engines atop the keep.
Food store: Square one-floor building with long tables laden with salted and fried meats of all kinds. There's a single wide table at the far end, with a chest on top of it. There's a mighty fine hole broken through the ceiling.
Cloth store: Rolls of cloth and various cloth, silk, and leather articles of clothing are on the many shelves inside this building. There's a single wide table at the far end, with a chest on top of it. The entire building is barely standing, most of its roof is collapsed. There's a pile of elf-paste near the building, and some elven corpses.
Armor store: Everywhere in the shop various pieces of armor are thrown about, shields of different sizes litter the floor, and arrayed under the now-broken shelves and tables are enough various boots to outfit a battalion. At the far end of the building, there is a single wide table. The heavy chest is on the floor, broken, a large supplement of coins from it now covers the floor.
The Keep: Large four-floor building. The first floor is almost devoid of furniture. A lot of civilians are huddled together in groups all over the floor. At least a dozen and a half guards are also there. The second floor is a massive stockpile of wood, metal, and stone. Dwarves constantly lug the materials to the upper floors. The third floor is turned into a massive workplace, with many workshops constantly working. The fourth floor is a large storage of siege ammo and some strange barrels. The roof of the keep is fortified with 9 ballistae and 3 catapults. There is some strange metal safe in the center of the roof, with 4 small keyholes and 1 large depression.
The Temple: Tall and proud, beautiful building of white marble, a solid first floor surrounded by columns is supporting several ring-shaped floors held up by beautiful marble supports. A deep pool of shiny, clear water can be seen inside the building. Well, it probably was like that. The entire thing has recently tried to rise up in mighty wrath as a gigantic statue of a carp, but failed miserably and broke to pieces. Afterwards, the overpowered Rooster single-handedly sent the whole place into oblivion along with the elves, who now cannot be seen, heard, or even smelled by anyone other than themselves.
------------
Background: [3] The clouds in the skies shift, but don't seem like clearing yet. The elves are regrouping for another massive attack.
