Ok happy people, here's the new turn!
It's not much to look at though, so sorry for the wait again.

Turn 149 ------------

[RTTAI:{4}] I sheathe the Ashcraver and try to salvage something from the convoy.
[AI]: I search for the dwarf and try to help him.
[RTTAI:{2}] I give up on healing and look at the item I got from the convoy.

I continue healing Janna with TK. aiming first at her internal injuries, then her burns, then her broken bones.
I go pick up my battle axe
I help Kashyyk after I've commanded the overenthusiastic Simon away.
I get out of the crater and loot the remains of the convoy for any useful weapons or armor that are still intact.

While Andrea continues his involuntary travelling, the team attempts to bring themselves together and salvage what can still be salvaged. Still somewhat shocked by the ordeal, however, they are having some trouble doing things right.
Watching Kashyyk's continued efforts to heal Janna, LASD is rapidly becoming frustrated. Running out of time and options, he gives Simon a powerful mental command: "Go. Away." Such power is in this command, that Simon immediately stands up, even under effect of LASD's paralyzing gaze. LASD blinks, and he turns around and starts walking away. Something in the soldier's eyes worries LASD, but he forces himself to pay attention to the matter at hand. Though without any knowledge of healing he's of little help to Kashyyk, but at least he doesn't get in his way, unlike Simon. Seeing LASD join in on the effort, Gantolandon declares that he's tired. Picking up a strange object he's left on the ground, he turns around and walks away.
Korora and Jay Kayell both set out toward the convoy's remains in hopes of acquiring something useful. But before either of them makes it even halfway towards their goal, yet another great explosion erupts at the convoy! What remained of the vehicles was flung up and scattered around the area, leaving almost no doubts that if there
was anything of use at the convoy,
now there isn't. Startled by the explosion, Gantolandon drops the object he was examining. Watching the last of the convoy go up in a great ball of fire, he quietly steps on the object, pressing it into the dirt, and pretends that he hasn't seen anything, and absolutely did
not give in to curiosity and flip any orange switches he found on anything in his posession. Luckily, nobody was harmed by that blast except Neo, whose otherwise excellent exercise in focus got abruptly interrupted.
On the hillock, Boksi is trying his damnedest to control the power of his ring. He orders the ring to stop channeling power into the vortex it created, but the ring refuses to comply! Straining his mind to its limit, Boksi repeats the order! Suddenly, the air around him begins to shift! With a dark flash and a plume of fire, the vortex reappears directly above Boksi and creates a torrent of air that almost lifts him off the ground! Boksi barely reacts in time and jumps out of the range of the anomaly. The vortex hovers in the air for a moment, and then suddenly withdraws into a floating orb. A dark pupil forms, surrounded by blazing flames and waves of materialized darkness. The floating "evil eye" looks around itself, and sees Boksi! It
sees him! Gazing intently at Boksi, the eye slowly begins to float in his direction.
Zako mills around, attempting to find Kosak under the ground with his thermal vision. Concentrated on this task, he manages to completely miss the dwarf's body lying three feet away from him, and only stumbles upon it by accident. It's hard for Zako to see the details, but it seems the dwarf is unconscious and heavily injured. He hastily grabs his limp body and tries to carry him away to the hauler, but suddenly Chaoticag appears out of nowhere and interrupts him. Shouting that there's no time to lose, Chaoticag focuses and channels his telekinetic powers into Kosak's body! The dwarf's burns and wounds begin to fade. As if invigorated by the telekinetic energies, Kosak suddenly opens his eyes. Looking around faintly, he proceeds to express his gratitude to Chaoticag and Zako, oblivious of the fact that neither of them can understand a word he's saying. The touching moment is suddenly cut short by Rooster appearing from nowhere in particular. Staggering a little from the aftereffects of the blast, he got completely lost on his way south and has circled around back to the hill.
Suddenly, somebody invisible runs down the side of the hill, almost tripping on Zako's tail. Quickly ascertaining that it is Boksi, the group soon sees what he was running from. A fairly large fiery eye of darkness floats towards them slowly, its mass of dark tentacle-like appendages hanging freely behind it. It stares at Boksi without blinking, giving everyone nearby a very unpleasant feeling. It seems to emanate fear. It steadily advances, and it doesn't look like it intends to start peaceful negotiations.
High above the clouds, Andrea attempts to reach out with his mind into the air around him to gather any electrical charge that might exist here. But he only wastes his strength - the air up here is thin and dry, with nothing to generate static electricity. The air
friction, however, is beginning to show - Andrea can feel that his speed is gradually decreasing. The temperature is rising, too, but whether it is due to the friction or the rising sun, he cannot tell.
------------
Background: [2+2] Chaoticag looks at the floating eye, but his panel advisors don't give much useful info. It's made of elemental fire and elemental darkness, bound by a flow of an uncategorized type of psychic energy. And that's it. Andrea tries to evaluate his altitude, but clouds get in his way. At any rate, he's no lower than eight kilometers by now.

------------
Artifacts: A massive, massive, MASSIVE sword. It is three meters long, 1'3'' (~40cm) wide, and dazzingly bright. Its fine steel has been polished to reflect light like a mirror. Its one edge is curved, jagged at the hilt, the other is straight and so sharp it could probably slice adamantine blocks like salami. Down the center of the sword, which is at least 2'' thick, runs a hollow slit 3'' wide, in which yeat another, smaller and straighter sword is concealed. The entire surface of both swords, except of course the sharp cutting edges, is finely engraved with uncountable images, among which the launching of the Challenger, world war II, a nuclear explosion, a trainwreck, and a rotary excavator. The hilt itself (being at the same time the hilt of the smaller sword) is decorated with gold and emeralds you can only assume you've taken from someone, arranged in beautiful patterns, and the handle is woven with three lines - one is a scaly snake with two small rubies in the eyes, and two seem awfully like DNA strands. You get a feeling you could decipher the human genome if you looked closely enough. The guard of the hilt is exquisitely detailed as well, but right down the senter of it, spanning the breadth of the sword, is a solid rectangular golden plate, with the single word: "ASHCRAVER" deeply embossed onto it. The entire thing is so immeasurably brilliant, you almost don't want to touch it fearing it'll stick to your hand and corrupt you like some magic ring. Overcoming this fear, you pick it up. Despite its size, it is relatively lightweight, relatively, of course, to anything else so large and made of steel. (+2 to damage, +1 to attack, -1 agility)
The second form is a smaller (comparatively) blade, that together with the folding hilt guard looks like an overgrown sai. It's also exquisitely detailed, but lighter. (+1 to damage).
The Ashcraver seems to accumulate the energy released by the deaths it causes. The process is admittedly rather slow, but has good uses.
The ring consists of a toroidal adamantine core surrounded by a shell of tempered steel with thin bands of gold along the rims of the ring. Set into an adamantine frame on its top is a Star Sapphire imbued with the dark soul of a Greater Demon, under absolute control of the wearer. The steel surface of the ring is covered by three hundred tiny tiles of granite, engraved with images of various creatures, all being dead.
The wearer of the ring may call onto the soul of the demon, which can manipulate darkness and fire - anything from direct projection to creating sentient forms to giving protection against.
The wearer can also give an order to summon a creature mad with rage (any creature from the DF world you have seen), which will use up one or several of the stone tiles, depending on the power of the creature. The tiles may be restored, but only through personally killing sentient creatures with bare hands and absorbing their essence with the ring, which also adds that creature to the "summonable creatures" list.
The price to pay for all this power is a constant aura of darkness that any living being will feel (and will react accordingly), and the wearer may, under critical stress, give in and become controlled by the trapped demon soul.
(No passive bonuses. In a single turn, you can either perform an act of darkness/fire manipulation (including creating a prolonged effect), or summon a creature/creatures, but not both. The magnitude and potential of both depend on your skill - the ring grants "basic level" only. You can only absorb the essence of a creature you killed with your own bare hands, and only if it died last turn, at most.)
Currently applied effects: (-1 to relevant ability for every active effect)
Darkfire halberd - haft of materialized darkness.
Shadow Warp - Boksi's shadow invisibility.
An odd-looking gnarly stick made of iron and steel. The many wrinkles and crevices on its surface are ever so slightly glowing. The staff feels special, capable of doing wonrous things. Some of those things include: summoning a small lightning that seems to charge the staff, when being hit against the ground; launching a spark of electricity that explodes in a sparkling firework-like burst, on giving a generic mental command.
(Universal Radiowave Manipulator) A hexagonal reflective box, rougly a foot across and 10cm thick. It can receive, process, transmit, focus, and disperse energy waves over a rather wide electromagnetic spectrum. Can work as a radio or a mini-microwave. Contains a battery that can be recharged by applying any electricity to the surface.
