Turn 124 ------------
I put the dead bats out of their misery. Now would be a good time to have stronger muscles, too.
| You walk over to the bats and try to finish them off. You're a lot less experienced than you anticipated, and after an hour of struggling, you only manage to off one of the three unconscious bats. The fourth one sits nearby and looks at you with unnerving apathy. It seems they don't mind if you kill them. You feel your ring vibrate slightly when the bat dies from your hand.
I try to accelerate my natural regeneration, even if it means turning myself into a disgusting monster
| The pain makes it hard to concentrate, but it's a try or die situation and you focus your thoughts on your regenerative systems, trying to accelerate their operation. The body is slow to react, only slightly increasing its regeneration speed, but you can still feel it work. Your internal wounds begin to seal up, and clots form to prevent blood loss.
| You're still heavily bleeding, your consciousness begins to fade.
I try to figure out ways to make (the gauss rifle) actually shoot. Or I try to learn to use it
| You examine the rifle. Unfortunately, attaching a powerful energy source is the only way to make it actually fire. You play around with it for a while, but being unable to shoot quickly makes you bored with the thing.
I heal my ankle, then go to Gantolandon.
| It takes you some time to bring your thoughts together and start working on your ankle. You are distracted by Kashyyk's mech stomping past you on your first attempt, and almost cause more damage than you've healed.
| The second attempt is more successful, and your ankle is now as good as new.
Fly and heal Gantolandon, and if I can, fly back and heal JK. If there's any time left (it is a camp turn, after all) heal Chaoticag.
| You try to focus, but the image of the giant bat's ugly face keeps popping up in your mind, throwing you off.
| You try to use your telepsychic abilities to drive the image out, to no avail.
| You are still quite determined to get to where you need to be, so you hitch a ride on the Wolf Trap when Kashyyk runs past you.
| You don't have anything near the required amount of agility to keep hanging onto the quickly striding mech though. You are quickly thrown off, but at least suffer no damage in the fall. You continue to the site on foot, eventually reaching it.
i heal gantolandon and if i have time left, i keep working on my staff.
| You run over to Gantolandon. One glance at him tells you he's in a pretty bad shape. The medics look puzzled, they are not sure that they are able to help him at all. You step in and push them aside,
| shouting "Clear!" as the electric discharge makes them collapse to the ground in convulsions. Directing your TK energies at Gantolandon, you quickly assess the exact extent of his injury, and get to work. His bullet wounds quickly close and regenerate, leaving but faint marks on the skin. His internal bleeding stops, and you even fix the broken arm. Unfortunately, he's still suffering from blood deficiency and some latent pain.
I run over to Gantolandon, and heal him.
| Turning your mech's reactor up to full power, you send the Wolf Trap into a sprint and drive it towards the crash site. You quickly arrive at the scene, but by then Andrea has already taken care of Gantolandon's wounds, so all you did was attract the attention of the convoy mechs. Luckily, their IFF systems work flawlessly and they immediately identify you as friendly.
I try to fall unconscious.
| You try to force yourself into unconsciousness to escape the pain. Lacking a good way to do it, you hit yourself in the side of your head with the handle of your gun. It doesn't really work, and your headache is amplified for some time. It makes you feel even worse, and you suffer through it until your regeneration fixes the damage you sustained and the pain begins to fade.
OK... I'll head to the enemy camp.
| You stand around for a while, pondering the situation. You don't really want to leave alone, but delays won't help you return.
| You finally make up your mind and run off northwards, following the curve of the valley towards where you think might be a passage that would lead you to the Jaguars' base. (You are now in Travel mode. Travel mode will last until you reach the destination or decide to stop. Rolls will be made to see how you progress, though only really bad luck will stop you at this time)
I stick with JK and practice my air manipulation intensely, focusing on fine manipulation.
| You concentrate and conjure up a teeny tiny twister in front of you. You practice moving it around, taking extra care to keep it in control. When you're reasonably comfortable with it, you try to write your name in the clay with the trail the twister leaves. It takes you a lot of time, but eventually you manage to produce a readable string of letters spelling out Z-A-K-O. You're pleased with yourself and feel slightly more condifent.
I'll try to produce night-vision to my riot-shield specs and use the evilness of my shield to make it easier (or possible)
| You fiddle around with the binoculars embedded into your shield. When all your attempts at doing anything useful with them fail, you turn to your evil side in your shield, and try to get it to help you. Your evil reflection laughs at you silently, then closes its eyes. You feel a pulse of energy emanating from your shield, but don't see anything change. The reflection opens its eyes and laughs again, then returns to its 'normal' state. You're not sure what it just did.
(RTTAI:{3}) I wake up and practice shooting the gun at various rocks.
| You manage to return to consciounsess and stand up. Taking out your gun, you aim at some nearby rocks and shoot. The fading light is no obstacle to you, and you easily hit the rocks with the laser.
| You practice for almost an hour, pausing periodically when the gun becomes too hot. By the time you're finished, your aiming skills have improved slightly.
------------
NPC Actions:
Allied: He's bored again. He tries to build something out of rocks.
| The shapes and sizes of the rocks here are too random for him to build anything purposeful, but he contends himself with a high, roughly throne-shaped mound, in which he proceeds to sit.
The bats stay where they are and do nothing.
Neutral: The medics set to caring for themselves, while the common troopers admire the effect of andrea's healing. Some of them continue to search the crash site.
| Suddenly there's a scream, and you hear something collapse in the crater. Medics run over, responding to another cry for help, as well as a good portion of the crowd around Gantolandon.
Enemy: None at the moment
------------
Background: [3+2] Night has fallen on the valley. Nobody sees anything interesting.
