This game of Multiworld Madness has grown too large for me to handle. What would you have me do?

I am back!

First: I absorb the metal I am stuck to, so I become bigger and stronger.
Second: I heal Andrea

Wait, change my move.

I do NOT remove any harmful effects caused by the regeneration.

Reverse psychology at its best!

I've decided that reverse psychology effects really only have a 1-in-6 chance of being successful. Since on a 4, 5, or 6 they'll do what you don't want. On a 1 something horrible will happen to you. On a 3 nothing much ever happens. So a non-reverse psychology effect has a 1-in-2 or 1-in-3 chance of being successful (depends on whether you count overshots or not).

Ahh, but did you look at my stats? I have at least a -2 to my roll, so that increases my chances. Plus with reverse psychology, a 1 is like a 6, a 2 like a 5 and so on. And if it doesnt work, my character just does nothing.

Hm. I just don't like these reverse psychology actions trying to cheat the system and make penalties useless. Well, let's see how Sean handles it.

if i was sean, and you was using reserse psicology like that, i would punish you.

get a 6? you keep what you have and it becomes worse. that is what you asked for, isn't it?

get a 5? you just keep what you have,

get a 4? same

get a 3? same, but maybe a -2 turn to -1 or something like that

get a 2? nothing happens. you stay like you are

get a 1? you turn into something else, but you won't gte any bonus from it

but it is up to sean, not to me.

I don't see anything TOO negative in Zako's statuses at this point (he's got the pain, but it'll wear out eventually), and I also don't like reverse actions, but here's a twist - my rules don't define epic fail as the opposite of your action, you just fail and make your situation worse. So if you don't do something, you don't do it, and if you epic fail, you get complications. For the sake of our mutual sanity, I'll go with Zako's first action, as both the one having more sense and the one having at least some chance to do something right. And Zako, don't forget you still have your regeneration - which I have actually forgotten to put into the status - you'll likely get even more interesting things over time, so better try to just get it under control and roll with whatever gets thrown at you.

Oh, and yeah - there are no penalties to "not doing". Not doing is neither a physical nor a mental action, it's not dependant on any of the parameters and done specifically out of choice. So, even if this were a "proper" RTD, the success chance would still be a 1 to 6, whereas succeeding at least somewhat with a -2 penalty and a normal action is a 2 to 6, or 1 to 3.

Heh.. Alright, that settled, and main actions are rolled for... and DAMN. You people are full of fail this turn. More than half of you failed, some failed quite epicly. So, nothing too good for this turn. The only overshot this turn was also quite uncalled for. That said, two perfect successes and one solid success should lighten the turn's overall a bit.

Turn 100
------------
Quote from: chaoticag
I get used to the sensor
|   As much as you'd like to get used to the swirling mess of numbers (that does give you interesting information sometimes, like the name of each star in the sky that would even theoretically be visible from your position, plus the distance to it and its size), you just can't. Every time you turn your head somewhere, a quadrillion new labels pop up and throw themselves at you. | It's just too much for your mind to bear, and it decides you need some shuteye. At least you don't see any labels while unconscious.
Quote from: Gantolandon
Looks like Zako have some problems. But don't worry, doctor Gantolandon is here to help! Using my axe, I cut off his most cancerous looking parts of flesh and secure them, planning to use them later (for example, to resolve the world's hunger problem). I also use TK-healing to modify his glands and even modify DNA strands, trying to turn his uncontrolled regeneration off, or better - find a way to control it.
|   You approach Zako with an intent to, uh, 'heal' him with your axe. He suddenly turns around and looks at you. The combination of a face covered with long grey fur and large watering eyes makes for a rather weird, but somehow cute "puppy eyed" look, and you stop for a second. Then Zako opens his mouth and...  you don't remember what happened then, but your senses returned to you when you were trying to burrow into the ground some fifty meters away from the crater.
Quote from: andrea
i heal myself! i heal myself!
|   In your state, there is little you can do except focus every ounce of your will on only one ability: healing. Suddenly your mind becomes very clear, and you are able to sense every damaged area in your body. Pouring your willpower into the process, you succesfully restore your broken body, even the teeth were returned to you, for they got stuck in your tongue for some reason. As you went along with the healing your pain lessened, and you took relief in that, which proved to be disastrous. As the healing neared its end, you momentarily lost focus - a mistake that too often proves fatal when dealing with such energies. Unleashed even for a second, the all-devouring power of telekinetic healing began to absorb everything you touched into your body! Your clothes and armor fused into your skin, the maul you still clutched with your hand became one with it, and its incredible power runs now through your very skin. | Thankfully, your moment of blissful negligence has not cost you too dearly, and you were able to bring your power under control and stop it. You look over yourself...... yuck. Well, now you only have one free hand, that's the most prominent change. Your right wrist is now directly linked to the handle of the blazing maul. The leather under-shirt and the iron splint mail have combined themselves into a somewhat orderly mess all over your body, which is now somewhat more rigid than it was. Even your neck and a part of your head became plated with iron strips. Your legs are, in turn, covered with a set of bronze plates, that limits their movement a little. Your gauntlets are fused into your hands - or hand. Your feet are now covered with numerous menacing spikes, that could be handy in battle. A powerful current now runs through the entire surface of your new skin, originating from the maul, adding to any damage you may deal in melee. All in all, and considering other circumstances and your previous state, it's not all that bad.

I get in the van and drive it to my armor
|   Deciding that you could make use of your armor after all, you jump into the van, start it, and drive off along the trail left by korora. Soon you return to your starting point, and stop near your armor.
Quote from: LASD
   I fix and start korora.
|   You take out your toolkit and start fiddling around under Korora's hood. You're really at a loss here, you can't tell what's wrong. You feel around for loose wires, when suddenly the engine starts! You get a nasty shock from the wire you were touching, yelp in pain, and smack your head into the hood above you. It hurts, really. Your hand is burnt a little. At least Korora can drive now.
Quote from: korora
I'll help LASD fix and start me, hoping to figure out a way to do one or the other on my own.
|   You're not sure what LASD is doing, but you decide to once again focus on your own capabilities. Some time spent thinking, and yes! You manage to start the engine! Unfortunately, you seem to have hurt LASD..  But no big deal, let's set off!
Quote from: Frelock
Sorry about getting everyone stuck, but I've got to get to the egg.  Duty Calls!  Normal TK field, activate!
|   Perhaps you should practice your normal TK field too? The recent shock from losing the large TK field must have still had some effect on you, and your attempts at flying off in a transparent bubble o'force are met with crushing failure.
Quote from: Neo1096
I'm sad that I can't help anyone. I get out of Korora and practice dodging to improve my reflexes further.
|   You practice, using thrown rocks as makeshift incoming projectiles. It's some kind of training, but rather tiring and not very effective. You don't get any better at dodging yet.
Quote from: Zako
I try to reverse any bad reactions with the regeneration I used before.
|   You try to focus on your regeneration, but your over-excitement only causes the regenerative malfunction to speed up momentarily. | Some of your pain is gone, but your nose has now disappeared from your face, leaving just a flat furry surface. | The vertebrae in your spine malform and sprout long spikes that protrude from your back. Similar spikes sprout from your elbows, and while they might be used for combat they deny you the comfort of soft chairs, the protection of armor, and the welcoming acceptance of people in an inflatable lifeboat.
Quote from: Rooster
I try to fix my oversensitiveness
|   Focusing on your senses, you try to calm down your nervous system and stop it from being so hyperreactive. It doesn't work much though. Suddenly Zako reaches out to you and inadvertedly stabs you with one of his new spikes. | No harm is done to you, but your body thinks otherwise, sending a pulse of sharp pain to your mind.
Quote from: Kashyyk
I absorb the metal I am stuck to, so I become bigger and stronger.
|   Attempting to consciously use TK to fuse into the metal does not yield results. Neither does gnawing on it.
Quote from: Boksi
(RTTAI:{5}) I try to meet up with JK
|   You see JK drive by in the van, and decide that it's a much better means of travel than going on foot. You chase after the van, shouting to Jay, but he doesn't stop. Eventually you make it to your starting place, just as JK finishes parking the van near his crashed armor.

Quote from: Kosak Sidasin Lokumzuden
Kosak just keeps doing what he is doing.
|   Suddenly he awakens, and sits up. He moves his arms and legs - turns out they have healed somehow. You're not sure what he did, but at least he's happy now.
Neutral:
Quote from: Occupants of the camp/dropship
They do whatever it is they do and observe the surroundings.
|   The sounds are getting closer. Andrea at least can feel the coming threat as the ground trembles slightly under his feet. Then finally it approaches, glinting slightly in the dim sun - a rather high humanoid-looking robot, with a large gun instead of the right arm, and a missile rack embedded in its chest. The pilot of the mech is probably quite shocked at the moment, because the mech visibly backed away a little. However, he soon regainst his wits and moves in closer, studying Andrea and Kashyyk, but doesn't try to speak yet.

Environment:
Unknown planet:   The planet seems to be barren as a whole. The sky is green here, and the air is cold. Or maybe it's just autumn here.
Large Valley:   A rather dull and barren, though very large, rocky valley covered by reddish clay soil with patches of some unknown weeds or moss. Filled with broken rock and debris. Sloping mountains or plateaus many kilometers tall seem to surround it. Several trails of large Y-shaped footprints run through it and away out of sight.
Sub-area 1: The place you initially appeared at. JK's armor is embedded in the ground here. JK, Boksi, and the van are here.
Sub-area 2: Where Zako's hurricane ended. Frelock, Gantolandon, Rooster, Chaoticag, and Zako are here. The latter three are in a small crater.
Sub-area 3: Kashyyk stopped the van here. Korora, LASD, Neo, and the dwarf are here.
Unknown camp:   A small military camp set up amidst the hills in the large valley. Big walking machines patrol its perimeter.
Main tent: A rather large tent set up in a flat area amidst the hills. Numerous communication antennae protrude from various places. Several walkers guard this as well.
Ovoid starship: A very big egg-shaped construction with turrets and thrusters. It's seen better days, by the looks of it. It's recently been attacked. Kashyyk and andrea are here, plus a dangerous-looking mech.
------------
Background: [4]   You don't notce much this time. The mech standing near andrea has a crest on its armor, a red circle with what seems to be a black snake inside.

Zako, just in case I say again - you have two regenerations only for this turn.
